Only outfits I’ve not really liked. They’ve done a great job with some gems there like Cinci last year, this year and French this year.

I didn't like the Madrid/Rome outfit, because of the low contrast between the white and the light mint green, the completely out of place shoes and the "lab collar" as I dubbed it.

It is interesting that we are of exactly the same opinion about his best outfits. For me RG was number one, followed by Cincy 2018 and Cincy 2019 (although the preference is strictly because there is more contrast against the court, I like the colours of 2019 better). I actually like the Wimbledon 2019 because of the collar (I think that they struck gold with that one and should continue to use it) and also Shanghai, which is a very nice combination of colours. The others are more settled, but very very wearable combinations.

The Madrid outfit was a total mess. Seems like they forgot to send over the correct pair of shorts to roger and he thus had to wear his remaining Miami shorts. That blue didn’t go well with the white at all.
Yeah when I first saw that collar, or more specifically the lack of buttons where the elastic is, I was weary, but seeing roger wear it did change my mind. I must say though I don’t like how in the retail version, it’s held together by a single thread. Seems like it’s bound to break. The collar seems to be inspired by the wing tip collar on dress shirts it seems. The Australian open collar was a miss, but this is a hit.

I do wonder if, and when they will start to go a bit crazier with the designs and start introducing patterns. Or maybe roger doesn’t want that.

Eeeexactly, it is a dress shirt collar type *. That is one of my preferred collar styles for dress shirts, so I am partial to the shape and cutaway. As for the single thread, I don't know about that (I don't have so much use for completely white outfits, so I didn't buy it, and the Cincy outfit is not available), but nothing that cannot be remedied next time I am with my tailor.

I think that by now they have a clear vision about him and what we see is it. Even if they make more extravagant designs, it won't be anything out there (and thank God for that, Roger is not 20 anymore and neither am I). I wish they made the jackets available though. I bought the entire RG collection, including 6-7 of the training shirts which are very nice additions to the style as they are a bit playful and different and I would have bought the jacket. * not a wingtip, though

Honestly, even Nike zombies have to admit that they all look great. Maybe only the French from this year were meh.

I personally think all of the Uniqlo kits look way better than what Nike has done in the same length of time. Lacoste and Yonex look consistently good though. Nike tries just too hard and ends up looking clownish IMO

I like them, too bad Uniqlo doesn't make enough for people to actually get them let alone carry stock in stores.

This is amazing. Glad Nike gave him black shoes. In the original promo he had white shoes.

He has been wearing the exact same shoes all year. He certainly had the exact same black colour way during RG. The white model dates back all the way to the AO. The only special colour ways for him were for Madrid/RG, and Wimbledon (well, not much of a colour way anyway).

My Fed stuff can’t yesterday (along with some other uniqlo stuff because why not) and I must say for how inexpensive it is the quality it amazing. The whole brand awareness strategy worked on me at least.

Honestly that third picture with the black headband/white shirt/black shorts/white shoes combo is the best looking one for me. I'm glad Uniqlo is slowly but surely giving Fed more unique and sharp designs.

As far as I can tell that combination is the most pleasing for the majority of the people that saw all of Federer's USO outfits this year. It certainly is to me.

plus I don’t like the Henley neckline of the Uniqlo shirts.

I prefer normal T-shirts or polos but that’s just me

also I dislike how the Uniqlo logo is always red, always the same size and on multiple places.
