Amazing win. I was sure he was going to crack at some point after Del Potro got the break back.

Yup, most players only get 3-4 chances in their career to win an Olympic medal.
Slams are obviously more important due to tradition and such but imagine playing AO,RG,WB,USO(or any big tourney really) only once every 4 years.

This match between Fed and DelPo had A LOT of tension in it, not just because of the medal itself but because they are representing their countries and many of these players are quite patriotic.

Actually, most players probably only get 1-2 chances in their career. Even playing three means you would have to be good enough for 12 years, which is a lifetime in tennis.

I'm wondering how many have played in four Olympics. I'm guessing not very many.

the youtube olympic channel has it. you can watch the replay there or download it. because it keeps buffering for live feed, i watched it on the lower resolution, but i see high quality resolution on offer also.

right now it's just one big feed of tennis the whole day. but i suspsect that as usual individual matches will be posted in the vid archives the day after. my boss is already asking me to download it once its available for him to watch over the weekend.
