Maybe. I count 68-68. Could be I was wrong.Isn't 69-67 Fed?
Nadal leads the H2H over Djokovic in Grand Slams (including 2-1 at the US Open). Federer does not lead the H2H over Nadal in Grand Slams.Djokovic leads Nadal +8,same as Nadal vs Federer.
Outside French Open it's 5-3 with Djokovic always beating Nadal as the highest ranked opponent.Nadal leads the H2H over Djokovic in Grand Slams (including 2-1 at the US Open).
Maybe. I count 68-68. Could be I was wrong.
That would be even more ironic.
Great stuff.Fed won 68 sets,
Djoko won 68 sets.
This gotta be record by faaar in h2h for sets being even.
Talk about close rivalry.
FedrIsn't 69-67 Fed?
Lew, there you go with another pro-Fed, anti-Novak stat.Isn't 69-67 Fed?
Fixed.what separates them two is age. If we look a little closer at their h2h. everything looks close but the more important their matches are, or the closer their matches are, the more things that turn out to go to noles advantage. I take data from Wikipedia to save time (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Djokovic–Federer_rivalry).
No1e vs Fed
- their h2h is 25-22 overall, but, in finals it is 12-6 and in GS it is 9-6, GS finals 3-1, WTF finals 2-0 and master finals 5-3, (MM finals 2-2).
- All sets are 67-70 but deciding sets are 13–5.
- TB is equal, 13-13 but deciding TB is 3-0.
- winning the match after losing 1st set: Djokovic, 7-1 (once after 0-2).
- winning the match after saving the MP is 2-0 nole.
The biggest balls thing in the text is the last one with MP. and it was 2010-2011 for two USO SF in a row! Federer was then 29-30 and nole 23-24. in the top 10 right now, are 2 players younger than nole were then and 6 players older than federer were then.Fixed.

Except a 24 year old ATG does have the age advantage over a 30 year old ATG. It became much worse after 2013.The biggest balls thing in the text is the last one with MP. and it was 2010-2011 for two USO SF in a row! Federer was then 29-30 and nole 23-24. in the top 10 right now, are 2 players younger than nole were then and 6 players older than federer were then.
or I can write like this.
nole vs fed:
- without finals their h2h is 13-16 but 12-6 in finals.
- outside the big tournaments their finals are 2-2, but 10-4 in the GS, WTF and masters finals.
- until the final set they are 54-65 in sets but 13-5 in the final set.
- in common TB, they are 10-13 but 3-0 in crucial TB.
- if nole, like federer, was unable to turn the match after losing the first set, their h2h would be about 18-29 instead of 25-22.
- if nole was not clutch in those two USO SF their h2h would be 23-24 and 7-8 in GS, instead of 25-22 and 9-6.
