Federer vs Gonzalez round robin match

Wow, well played gonzo. Now its time to see if my theory of fed not giving up will come true. I have to say I feel very nervous though lol, after all gonzo only needs 4 points from somewhere
 
Gonzo is ripping the ball with those huge forehands. Fed doesn't know where to hide. Oh, my, the bets...
 
We can give credits to Gonzo today :) however this match will end Federer might win in it No Gonzo is winner!! lol!
 
I was expecting Federer to be all fired up coming into this tournament, end the year on a high and all that.
 
Another match lost where Federer had more points throughout the match. That's what's ******* me of the most! He's losing such matches time and time again.
I wasn't nearly as mad when he lost to Nalby in straights, because there he had no chance, but this match he should've won and didn't!
 
all those Spanish speaking guys must have been sharing the secret around on how to beat Federer.
 
Tough loss for Fed. He was off his game and Gonzo played with no fear and alot of motivation. He looked jacked up in this match and very excited to be in Shanghai and played a great match. Fed looked lazy out there and misfiring. A combination of all those factors and you have an upset. How ironic that Roddick plays next and has the opportunity to eliminate him from Shanghai, you can bet your bottom dollar Roddick will be foaming at the chance to do it. I don't think he can, but then again I predicted Fed would smoke Gonzo in straight sets. Fed basically is running on fumes for the past few weeks though. It's been a long year.

Yeah, he really should hire a coach, instead of being arrogant and thinking he doesn't need one.

Why, it's the first time he's ever lost at RR stage of Shanghai, and the first he's ever lost of Gonzo, and it was a match he should have won. It happens, but I just hope he wakens up and realises he needs to get his finger out for these matches and he can't just walk into the final as usual.

Indeed. But, Roddick really has not a threatening game as Gonzo when he's playing his best (same for Davy) so I'm quite confident Federer will still reach the SF. But that match should'Ve told him that you can't win without giving 100% in Shanghai.
With Gonzo playing this well - Davy should lose - so he very well can get first of this group, who would've thought.
