Agree on the whole, but how you can possibly say that Federer-Djoko yesterday was 'outmugging' is beyond me. That was a very entertaining and high quality match of tennis.

Djoker was not there mentally in the first and only came back in the second because Federer started putting his foot in his mouth, losing the second after being up a break. Then in the third Novak manages to fight back only to squander BP's at 5-5. It was way too up and down for me, with both players, they had spurts of brilliance and moments where they weren't even in the game. I enjoyed it but it wasn't a great match. It did outshine today's final though.

I like matches where both guys are at a pretty high level and only a couple of balls make or break the match. The Nadal-Murray match was a good one, although not a classic. I'm a big Djoker fan but in honesty, Fed should have straight setted him but was too muggy saturday and allowed novak in. Once novak got in he couldn't finish it and again they were both up and down and Fed prevailed but in this state any of them could have won.

The top 4 are looking pretty shaky at the moment, kinda inconsistent, but that's to be expected after a break.

I don't know, it's as if some of you think Murray doesn't deserve to be winning this match. Federer hasn't been at his best, but we can play the same game and say Murray is playing much better today tactically than in the final of Australia.
Murray is tactically sound today, undeniable. Plus he's getting a lot of chances to show off a hot BH, since Fed keeps hitting to it...

It appears ESPN will not finish broadcasting the rest of the Roger's final. Does anyone know if it will be presented elsewhere?

Does it make sense to forego the conclusion of a men's final?

10 PM - but if you're in the UK you want BST - which would make it 11PM.

How do you see the rest of the match going?

Also, are we still on for Cincy doubles? Not sure how it'll work yet but I'm sure all will be revealed :p

Is the leading team, the hometeam, able to score in the 9th inning in baseball? I'm not familiar with the sport but would like to know.

you guys talk like its over for Rodge.

You should know better. He can still win this

Yep, but I can't possibly deny that it would take a massive turn-around from him to do so, down a set and a break and playing like a clown so far - and I'm not seeing it happening this time. But who knows, indeed.

I'm perfectly fine with a victory for Murray the way this match has been going so far. Better player, and he at least looks like he's trying.

Responded to you on the Cincy thread re dubs mate - still in.

I'm tempted to say the rest of the match hinges on Murray holding serve, but they've broke each other so often that I'm not sure it would be true.

Roger looks just a teensy bit jaded after two tough matches and a quick turnaround - he is human after all; and now a 29 year old human at that.

What do you think Joe?

This match has been absolutely brutal so far. Shanky Shankerer has given a cringeworthy, almost comical performance so far.

Great! :)

I agree. I think the time has been and gone where Roger can take on 3 young guns in a row without getting tired. Having said that, Murray's been solid tonight. Roger's looking sluggish, but Murray's got the match on his racquet. This is an important match for Andy.

SKY just said play will resume in about 20 minutes - that's much earlier than the previously stated 6pm local.

not sure what match you're watching, but Roger Federer has definitely held his own in the Roger's Cup final against Murray. What channel is this "Shankerer" playing on?

A lot less shanks in this match than that disgraceful Djokovic/Federer match. Club level players would have been ashamed of the play in that match.

First three games aside, Murray has been solid rather than spectacular - but that's all he's had to be.

That was the first set Andy has ever won against Roger in a final. Might even be the first time he's ever broken Roger in a final. It is important he closes it out, big result if he can.

I think that says more about how Muzza is serving, than it does about how Shanky is playing. Handing Muzza the match on a sliver platter.

Wow really? I wasn't aware of that stat. Hope it's a good sign for Andy and that he manages to keep it together until the end.
