It all balances out then. Djokovic deserves it after having a tough start and middle part to his career.

Well Federer was in those draws himself and lost to other players and did lose to Murray and Stan once each in a slam too.

Doesn't it register in your thick head that Djokovic had Federer+Nadal to deal with ?
During that period Murray and Stan benefitted from Djoker's undivided attention on Fedal. It is not like Murray and Stan were anything vs Fedal, they were solely focussed on Djokovic and successful vs him while he was focussed on multiples of great players. A few defeats here and there might come in the period. Federer+Nadal adjusted to Djokovic in 2012 and from that period next 12 months Murray got 2 big slam wins. This is how it happens when 2 ATGs and 1-2 fellow peers who are great too clash with you.
In Federer's peak the only great players were Roddick and Safin and even these fellows were not ATGs, thats why Federer had his undivided attention on them.
