I don't know whether it's just the promo photos that make it look a bit "off", but it's another miss in the Federer x Uniqlo partnership imo.
They have attempted to go for more features after the last few outfits, but adding details to a design without getting the cut right is pointless.
It looks like they've experimented with the collar again, adding a cutaway style which is fairly adventurous, but the rest of the outfit looks more suited to a club player knocking up on the weekend. A very daggy cut with standard drop split tails on the side seams which is not particularly flattering.
Why can't they get this right??! Dressing Roger for Wimbledon and getting the cut right should be the easiest task in the world. They have a style guide of all the years he has played there in Nike's very familiar cut for the shorts and shirt.
Agree. I think the Windsor style neckline may have been a suggestion from Roger.
The mixture of the contrasting lining on the placket and the cutaway collar makes it look a bit like a baseball collar, which ruins the effect imo. Might just be the angles I have seen so far.

2009 is the highwater mark for me. It was so different to anything else anyone was doing at the time that it just stood out massively, but kept an element of elegance. It wasn't something I would wear myself but it suited Federer.

2003 was cool, i have this shirt in red, Zip collar and i love the gray patterns on the sides.
