The bandana looks way cleaner than any prior ones. Maybe photoshop or different than your regular cloth one? Overall I love this. Simple as always but the UNIQLO logo looks awesome. Better than a bunch of swooshes everywhere.

Is it a bandana or a headband? In the photos it looks more like an elasticated headband as you can't see where it is tied.

Asked the question earlier in the thread and still not sure.

Right but do they usually make more product after selling out initially? I haven't been following all the previously released kits, just noticed this one sold out of many sizes in less than a day. Doesn't seem like they put much stock out there...

I have not seen uniqlo restock items yet but it’s strange that they had very limited quantities for US online store.
XS, XL and XXL were as low as 18 items to as high as 25 and S,M and L were as low as 35 to as high as 50 items.
Hard to believe low quantities so this might be early portion of Wimbledon gear but uniqlo never really restock items before.
Also next product might be around US open and the gap is too wide so everything sold out quickly, there will be no products for two months........

How they are doing this is truly puzzling. You would think if it was supposed to be limited stock they would jack up the prices to compensate for such few units, but to sell them cheaply just doesn't seem to make a ton of sense.

Babolast, curious if they will ever release the jacket? I will not buy any of the Uniqlo stuff because I am not a fan of them or their marketing of RF. But just wondering. Thanks! Must say, miss the RF nike days!

Honestly white color is least popular color and not profitable for apparel companies. Wimbledon should easy on white color rules. At least 30% color can be added instead of more than 95% of white color.
Apparel companies spent millions dollar to tennis players and if they can not make money, pro tennis players who will get less money from apparel companies in the end. Overall it’s bad for tennis in my opinion.

I am shocked that uniqlo made limited quantities for Wimbledon too but still possibility that they might add later even though it’s highly doubtful. I don’t know who make this decision but someone who is in charge in US online store, have no clue in tennis apparel or even who Federer is.....
I’ve seen extremely low numbers for FO kit in Korea. They had less than 10 sets each size. Probably Korean might buy more items at retail stores to since they have many uniqlo retail stores so online sales are not necessary but still that’s low number.

uniqlo needs to improve online sale strategy for US and expand their retail stores to south such as Atlanta, Dallas, Houston etc... their shipping service is super slow and so many things are not impressed.

Uniqlo released the jacket a few times before but somewhat reason, they stop making and push more stretch sweat jacket (hoodie style). Last year uniqlo released the jacket for Nishikori.
Yep. Agree. Not impressed with their marketing. One of the best tennis player just won tournament but they did not say anything on their social media such as Facebook hahaha

I agree. But it is not even about the FB stuff, I know people have differing opinions about the Uniqlo deal. I will say long-term it is a bad deal. Nike and the RF brand was going to grow into other tennis players wearing his line and other sports. With that said, pointless to discuss it anymore. I miss the RF Nike lab collection and the special sneaker drops. :(

Yes. Mostly agree. Unfortunately Nike lab collection failed big time because of over priced productions. They should have brand manager to start with but 300 mils for 10 years.... Fed is the winner. Who cares about uniqlo marketing or RF brand? Just take the money hahaha. If Nike is willing to spend money, Nike and fed can launch RF brand after 10 year uniqlo contract. Still the brand might be valuable.

Still think that Fed and Uniqlo does not match well as both brands,
Millionaire (possibly Billionaire) shops at apparel store and buy $15 T-shirts..........
Same goes with Nadal... Kia sponsors Nadal but he does not drive Kia. Probably he might not have any Kia cars in his garage hahaha.

Same here but their RF collab shirts and shoes really is super overpriced and i guess did not make profit for them. hence dropping fed for their own mistake of being too greedy

Agree in principle but I really don't miss their prices. Absolutely outrageous some of it. E.g. I saw one of the nike lab polos that fed wore in the match for africa seattle (which was the same design and style as the normal advantage polo - just a different colour) for £110 compared to the match polo which was more like £60 (already too expensive)
 
It was hard to believe that they had extremely limited items but Uniqlo restocked some items in US online store.

did not sell well. dumped at their factory and clearance store (mostly) for cheap prices. Still could not sell well.
honestly, there are better designs for nike lab products but RF line was not really unique design for apparels (too old taste in my opinion).

If I remember correctly, the 2018 navy Cincy outfit was never commercially available.....
 
Anyone else notice that the shorts Fed’s been wearing to practice at Wimbledon aren’t the same as what they’re selling? They’re meant to look the same, but they’re woven verses that material Uniqlo always uses. This is the first time he hasn’t worn what Uniqlo sells.

They look like the same material as some of the very early releases that Uniqlo did for Novak. Very high quality.
