Federer "would not stand a chance" against 2016 version of Djokovic - Tipsa

WTF? Having more BPs means technically better???

No, the better player is the one who wins 3 sets first, that's it.

Djokovic beat not only Roger, but also a more than 20,000 crowd. That's awesome. I Still remember how the crowd screamed like slaughtered pigs BEFORE Djokovic got to the ball at the deciding point of set 2 and that's disgusting. Why player is penalized for disturbing his/her opponent (i.e Serena - Stosur USO11) but fans are not?

Fortunately justice was done that day.

Also, his celebration at Wimby 15 is epic. It's like Suck my d. you f. loud mouth *****'s sons.

Celebrate when DJ gets 18

people who yell at ball kids are...

LOL really? We come from technical to moral so fast.

Of course I can throw thousands footages of Fed's outburst in here but I won't - because I dont' care. I don't give a damn whether a tennis player is good person or not because what he shows off may not be his nature.

And to answer your question, no matter how Djoker behaved, he's an ATG, top 10 in the entire history of the game, a living legend.

Wimbledon 15 was for Fed his last realistic chance at #18 so I think he folded under pressure on the big points. Having the aforementioned 23BP he was actually playing better the DJ who only managed 12BP on Fed's serve. His mentality in AO 17 with more relaxed as there was no expectations and playing Rafa in the final was more about personal rivalry rather than the record book.
I don't know, he played better tennis at the UO15 compared to Wimby (if we ignore the semis against Murray).
But you are right, he probably couldn't handle the pressure he put on himself.

That's why I'm afraid #18 was his last GS and he won't win Wimby this year.
But let's see what happens, that man never fails to amaze and surprise me.

LOL, do you need some chips for your salt?
You have the same class as your idol. But it is ok, don't worry

First of all, you dont defeat a crowd. They do not play, unless you allow them to get in your head in a bad way - even some players (and I would say Djokovic maybe is one of them) turn that into positives and get even more fire and motivation to win, so please dont sell stuff like that

About "the better player" is another non-sense - only exists a winner and a loser. "Better player" can be highly discussed, it is SUBJECTIVE

What makes me laugh is that even your idol won the match, you are still salty about it. Not sure why, honestly - one million people can say Fed was the better player, who cares? In the end only matters who win

Cincinnati 2012. I definitely must watch the match. I wasn't at home during it.

Since the sound is muted, we don't hear the crowd who erupted in vicious booing. Nobody goes after Fed at the net and survives to have any fan support. Nole was pissed because Fed had just bageled him, and Novak was playing well that match. Remember that match very well and have it on DVD.

But everything he said is true mon ami, has nothing to do with being salty.

A player having the bigger crowd supporting him is normal.
Federer have more fans rooting for him everywhere(except if play in Serbia) is because of his game/style is more attractive than Nole. Most fans like his effortless and graceful strokes and movement on court, in addition of being a tennis goat. Off court, Federer has had all of the qualities that sportsmen treasure in a champion: he is humble, gracious, tenacious, kind, caring, etc..

It's not his fault that Federer has a bigger crowd support than Nole, he has earned that right, it's to his credit for being who he is.

All i've said is about the game in general, not that particular match. Obviously you dont follow the story from the beginning.

First, you misundertand the context here. Making noises, taking photo without turning off the flash... DURING A POINT, all those things directly interrupt players' focus and negatively impact the match. Please remember that in the case I've mentioned, the crowd did it BEFORE Djokovic made contact to the ball. When the point is finished they can do whatever they want because they pay a big sum to get there, but they did it during a point. Yes, during a point!

Second, I said the better player is the one who wins 3 sets first, not the one who has more BPs. Basically it's the same to what you say. So I don't understand what bothers you here?

Third, "idol" is a term for teenagers, not for adults. I like both of them but none of them is my "idol" LOL, thus I have nothing to be salty here. My words about the crowd could be too much, but I can't bear the thought that some people grant themselves the right to do anything just because they buy tickets. No. It's a Grand Slam final, the most important event of the most aristocratic sport - not an animal circus!

It is when you're a fan for the GOAT.
What a joke. Roger Federer's accomplishments are not your own. You just watched it like the millions of other tennis fans. There is nothing special about you. You are not part of anything. Just because you picked the obvious bandwagon to hop on doesn't mean other fan bases are any different from you.

Who said they are?
And who said I jumped on a bandwagon? Does your tiny brain have the slightest clue as to when exactly I first watched Federer?
No? Then keep your mouth shut and recognise that your teeny tiny brain has let you down. Numbnuts.

Kinda a hard sell that he's salty if his guy won the match... logic, ya know?
Not exacrlt since his guy still trails the GOAT all time.
If this is too complex for numbnuts like you to comprehend, I'll dumb it down and talk to you the way I would to my 5 year old niece.

Orcourse you don't. You need more than 5 brain cells to comprehend what I said.
Carry on with strawman arguments.
Can you cite my strawman argument? Seems like a big word for 7th grade.

Is it really surprising that Tipsarevic, Novaks friend and compatriot in a serbian interview bigs novak up? Yes his comments are dumb, but no need to make a big deal about them imo.

Desperation?
Carry on with "K lol"
And go back to telling me when I started watching federer.
If you had 5 brain cells you'd spot it. The fact that you're struggling tells you all you need to know.
You ever how notice you repeat the same catchphrases endlessly? Not very effective for talking trash. Gotta work on that.

5 DFs (in set that he lost with 0 games), poor on return(25% points won ) throughout the whole match means he played well:oops: man, you're clueless about sport that you comment.

Sure man, you like Federer. Thanks for making me laugh this morning.
I only agree the part about the crowd - it is not nice, I do not agree with its behaviour, and something needs to be done - but other than that, in the end, the crowd has no rackets to play.
I wonder, as one poster said, why you are salty even if your idol (sorry to tell you that mate) won that match! Tells something about Djokovic even winning Slams, not really "winning" in the end. How funny

You Djokovic fans still complaining over that USO final? Man...poor Djokovic, nothing ever seems to go his way.

More or less this is the point here LMAO. Win or lose, he still lose lol

Idol, salty... you make me laugh too. It's just a game, someday you'll understand.

In this case I call it Critical i/o Salty as you said.

Really? Because whenever I hear the word "Idol" I immediately think of these kids:

Do i misunderstand the meaning of that word? How about just favorite player? I dont know his dog name, I dont know his favorite food, I will never sleep with him... how can I call him my idol?

And I think liking more than 1 player is nothing special.

Ciao.
