Probably, yes. I think there's a possibility that he plays better next year than this year but I also expect tougher competition.

Yeah, and his next year will be even better than 2014.

Is, Federer re-entering his prime?

I could see him matching (not bettering at this stage of his career) his level of play from this year, but that would likely equate to weaker results as the competition this year was pretty weak.

This pretty much. I basically expect him to stay top-5 in 2015. Whether he's in top-3 depends a bit on how the others do. As for a potential slam, he needs to hit some really, really good days as well as not having to go through both Rafa and Novak - and probably no Rafa at all (except at Wimbledon).

He was lack of desire of fighting in last year's Cincy and the US Open for some reason; he managed a better year of 2014 with the new twins joining his life; now a more focused Roger, it's a bit too hard to tell what's gonna happen to him in 2015...

He's not going to age any better. Yes, it seems that his claims of a mediocre 2013 being due to injury had merit, but I can't see Fed finishing 2015 any higher than 4.

at the beginning of the year he said his goal was to win 5 tournaments this year (not necessarily any gs tournaments) so I think hes happy with how hes doing. if he can win a couple more and cap it off with a YEC title and a davis cup title which all sounds reasonably possible to me I would consider this year a great success for him

This is an amazing year for anyone. GS final & two semis. Four Masters finals with one win. Twins born. Probably a Davis cup. I would love to see him win WTF.

I think a better 2015 will be tough but who can ever count him out.

Much better than 2013, but not nearly as good as 2012. Maybe this is as good as it gets for Il Maestro.

I think Federer is sticking to his 4-year plan devised back in 2012. To train harder, retain celebrity coaches, consultants, umpires, directors, whatever it takes to continue improving and peak at the Rio 2016. He will likely start declining after Rio, but will throw all his resources at securing a wildcard into Tokyo 2020. After that, I doubt he will make a serious attempt at the Olympics, unless the 2024 event is held in Durban, Hamburg, or at least Berlin.

I smell Agassi and Connors so he'll likely stagnate at the Semifinal stage barring a great matchup with an old unbalanced rival.

Such as Ferrer, Wawrinka or Murray.

2014 is probably his last great surge, hopefully he continues this form into next year too.
