Matches where Federer was close to losing but won to extend his 36 consecutive Grand Slam quarterfinals streak....

Interesting to note that when Federer was at 24 consecutive Grand Slams - 2004 Wimbledon to 2010 French Open, he was down two sets to love in first round at 2010 Wimbledon to extend streak another 12 consecutive Grand Slams.

Novak is at 24 consecutive Grand Slams from 2009 Wimbledon to 2015 French Open, he is down two sets to love. Can he make the comeback to keep the streak alive?

Anderson looks done to me. No excuse for him to be physically/mentally fried after only a 2.5 hour match.

That record is potentially under threat isn't it? Barring a lapse somewhere, or injury, no reason Djokovic can't go another 3 years making the quarters (in theory).

I've written a lot about sports coincidences. It never gets old. I believe!

Though Novak has a history or retirement prior to the streak. A total 11 in his career. That ends the streak.
