What's with your hyperbolizations lol? Fed wasn't old in 2011 and you all forget the most important factor which is Fed was forced to evolve after Djokovic and Nadal raised the bar higher in 2008-2011 compared to 2004-2007, Roger should have progressed to make it competetive vs Djokodal, so in reality his absolute peak was in 2011-2012.
Fed wasn't that old in 2011-2012, but anyone with a working pair of eyes can see that he wasn't close to his 2004-2007 level during that time.

Djokodal were making him uncomfortable, so he looked not as impressive. Fed's loss to ballbashing Safin in 2005 is the same like his his losses to Tsonga and Berdych in 2011-2012.

and tsonga/berdych did it easier than safin which proves that peak tsonga/berdych > weak era mug Safin. It's too bad Tsonga and Berdych didn't have guys like 2005 weak era coddled Fed or Sampras to feast on or else they would have won many slams.

Thanks for objective Federer fans proving that Fed's absolute peak was in 2011. 1-4 h2h record vs Djoker baby!

I still think his prime was 2006-2007 AO. He was waaay more consistent back then. Federer wasn't on the same level playing wise in their Indian Wells and Dubai matches for example that year.

The US Open encounter Federer had 2 MPs on his own serve - could easily have won that match. In the AO that year Federer played really well but Djokovic was better.

That's my take on it

His peak was 2003 TMC to 2007 AO. There was a dropoff after that and some clutch play still made the year look good with 3 slams but his general level wasn't as high.

His absolute best stretch of tennis is 2006 IW to 2007 AO imo. His best and most consistent tennis ever across all surfaces.

Changing your whole game completely isn't as easy as u make it look plus the slower court progression. In that case, Djokovic should've have progressed in 2007-2009 to match with fedal, so in reality his peak was 2007-2009. Yes. This is how stupid u sound. Please look at things from an open perspective instead of from the behind of ur fav player.
