Federer's negative H2H against Nadal is a positive thing!

I got about 75% in mathematics at school, so whilst I am good at math I'm no mathematician.

So how could we put this whole paradox that Fed is supposedly the GOAT except he gets hammered by a long time rival (irrelevant that it's his greatest rival) into a math formula. I'll give it a try.

Federer > The world (minus Nadal)

Or

World < Federer < Nadal

Or

Federer minus Nadal = GOAT

Or

Federer = GOAT minus Nadal

Sorry OP, as diatribe as your OP is, you can't crunch the numbers whilst ignoring the heavy H2H deficit Federer faces against Nadal. You have to factor it in and no matter what formula one uses, 10-23 is not positive.

Nadal has cost Federer like 6 slams...it's not a good thing. I don't think it deserves the attention it gets but it's a negative for sure.
