After Federer won the 1st set tiebreaker against Djokovic in the 2014 Wimbledon final, I thought he had a very good chance to win the final.
Looking at "big matches" - semifinals and finals of Grand Slams, when Federer wins a tiebreak in a match he has won 22 out of 27 matches (5 losses were 2012 Australian Open Semifinal, 2013 Australian Open Semifinal, 2008 Wimbledon final, 2014 Wimbledon final, and 2011 US Open semifinal).
When he loses a tiebreaker in a match, he is 1-10 (lone win was 2006 Wimbledon final).
Overall his tiebreak record in "big matches" is 36-12. 6-6 at Australian Open, 6-2 at French Open, 17-2 at Wimbledon, and 7-2 at US Open.
