Fed's oblong racquet

doesnt feds racquet look a little oblong now, more so than the current k factor tour 90. is it possible we are still not playing with the same mold that Federer is using but his previous mold version. If it is true, it seems like us consumers are always one step behind what Fed is currently using.

When the consumer had the Tour 90 and ncode, Fed had the 6.0 90 (with the long throat and wide spacing)

Now we have the 6.0 90, and now Fed is currently using a slightly oblong racquet head.

These, of course, are all assumptions from what I can see on TV.

It's just an illusion from the new k-factor paintjob. If you compare the k90 to the n90 in person, the k90's head size looks smaller because of the paint design and graphics. If you get a chance to see the new k90 racket in person, you'll see what I mean.

Ninety-nine percent of these types of topics, and I mean this with no disrespect, can be solved by looking at (no pun intended) the different colors of a frame, as AC mentioned.

You see the color white and other bright colors because more light is reflected off of those surfaces. This gives the illusion that a white object or part of an object is larger or more prominent than it really is.

Notice where white colors were on the nCode; now see where they shifted on the K-factor. Does it correspond with how you perceive the frame to have "elongated"?
