Feedback on groundstrokes appreciated (video)

after some time of reading-only i decided to join your ranks; i just finished editing some footage of a sparring partner - basically groundstrokes.

i'd be happy about any feedback, especially on his bh and form...

the reason for my inquiry is that although his strokes don't look that bad, he is sometimes quite inconsistent. i'm figuring that's because of some not so obvious technical flaws, but i can't put my finger on it

more racquet head speed after contact i think need, looks kind of slow. footwork could be better. more variety of shots instead all topspin...

Use your body, use some rotation. Right now you're basically muscling the ball, using rotation would also get you more racketspeed.
