I have ordered these 4 racquets for demo'ing

Wilson Juice 100 BLX
Wilson Juice Pro BLX
Wilson Pro Open BLX 2012
Wilson Pro Staff Six.One 95 BLX

While I wait for it to arrive, I would appreciate if someone who have been using these racquets can gimme your feedback

Had a demo of the Juice 100, a little too stiff and a little too much unpredictable power. Tried the Open and loved it, does everything the Juice does but with more control and comfort.

I am also delighted with the blx pro open 2012. Much spin, good comfort and stability, and a nice blend of control and power to attack groundstrokes.

Juice 100 - My favorite of the bunch. Do yourself a favor and put at least 4gm of lead at 3&9 o'clock, otherwise it will feel unstable and light. Stiff but somehow well dampened and not uncomfortable, better feel & comfort than the PD/PDR 2012 IMO. Very powerful frame, if you've got decent control you'll love how hard you can smack the ball into your opponent's court. I tried it with full poly and it felt just right, have no idea how such a powerful frame will respond with a multi in it.

Pro Open - More flexible and lower powered than the Juice 100. Reminds me of an APDGT with less weight and less power.

PS95BLX - Has the most feel, control, and flex/comfort of the bunch. It feels a bit light but plays better if you take a good smack at the ball IMO.

Juice Pro - excluded from my comments bc I haven't used it.

Thanks for all your comments, I got my demo racquets shipped today

Day 1 Feedback

Couple of things I want to mentioned before providing my feedback

I usually hit with Wilson NCode Six One 95 - Weight 12.2. For last 18 months, I have only been playing with full bed poly strings...
Most of the feedback posted below would have to do with the default string that came with the racquet

Wilson Juice 100 BLX w/ full Poly String - Spent 1 Hour hitting with it. Had nice top spin and found it powerful. After 1st 10 min of use, i didn't like it as forehands were going long but with time i was able to settle down. Serve was off (timing & feel wasn't great) for about 20 servers but was able to get it going. Little bit stiff but I kinda like the feel. Looking at the string, it looked like a Babalot Pro Hurricane although couldn't confirm.

Wilson Juice Pro BLX - Didn't get a chance to use it, Plan to hit it today, will post the feedback tomorrow. 27.25 length sent a negative feeling in me but will try today.

Wilson Pro Open BLX 2012 - Spent 10 min only. Came with NON poly string. Stroke looked flat but good control. I felt very light weight compared to what it says. Hallow feeling compared to Juice. Didn't get a chance to Serve, Volley etc but let me see if i can get a good hit with it today.

Wilson Pro Staff Six.One 95 BLX - Gave it to my patner(Usually plays with BPD), within 5 min he returned it as most of hit balls went into net and his response was no power. Came with the poly string. I'm going to try tomorrow.

Have 6 more days left to demo & decide...

Off topic, but why limit yourself to Wilson?
I donno why but may be because Federer is my idol and don't like Nadal ..not as a person but the game.
When I hit using my friend's Babalot APDGT racquet 1st time, I kinda really liked it but I was always looking for equvilant wilson racquet. May be once federer retires, i may have change but right now fixed to wilson

How do you test your demo frames ? With dampener, overgrip ?

I usually use L2 grip size with two overgrip...all these demos came with 3/8 ...i didn't bother to put overgrip on these demo however Wilson Pro Staff Six.One 95 BLX came within a overgrip. With regard to dampener, I have never used one at all.

I play with the ProStaff. It is a great racquet, but it is very much a control racquet. Unless you are a big hitter, I don't hink it is going to play well with a full set of poly. For me, I would put lead in the handle (a leather grip works as well) plus a little lead at 12. With overgrip and dampner you are close to 12 oz. Put some decent multis in and you will get a much better test of the racquet.
