Feedback: Wilson Super Tour Red 15-Pack Bag

Hi TW,

I wanted to offer my feedback on the Wilson Super Tour Red 15-Pack Bag (WR8036600).

I’ve been using Wilson, both for racquets and bags, since the mid 1990’s. This newest generation bag was my favorite, both in aesthetics and well as compartments.

------
Unfortunately, for the first time in my using a Wilson Tennis bag my racquets did not easily fit.

To summarize, I use an extended racquet, the long since discontinued Wilson Pro Staff 6.1 110 28” length. When in the full body cover, I had to fight to squeeze 3 of the racquets in the main compartment. To say it was the tightest of fits would be a total understatement. It was tight in as far as width but would likely would have worked if not for the super tight fit length wise.

In the end, as much as this was my favorite back of the 10-plus I’ve owned throughout the years, I had to return it. It is for that reason that I am offering feedback so 1) that way others who might be in the rare 28” racquet club might be aware, and 2) perhaps in future generations Wilson might be able to make a slightly longer offering.

------
I wanted to add that I called Wilson Customer Service to offer them this feedback. The rep I spoke with was super friendly and thanked me for being a long-time supporter of the brand. I also called T-Dubs and I think it was Maddie that I spoke with. She could not have been nicer.

Should you have any questions please feel free to ask. Hope this helps and thanks for listening!

Best always,
John

6.1 110 28" is a beast of a frame. hope you find a bag that works. i recommend looking at duffle bag based approach

happy hitting

Hi Gino,

Thanks for the reply! Fortunately for me, previous generations of the Wilson Tennis Bags work for my racquets.

Enjoy your Tennis!

Best,
John

Yep, had the same problem to a lesser extent trying to fit my 28” racquets into the newer Prince bags - tend to use backpacks now as I cycle to the courts most of the time these days.
