Ferrer and Del Potro will beat Tsonga easily playing doubles against him.

On a more serious note, why all this speculation? THey hve no chance ofplaying vs each other?

It's a match up that interests me, some of my favourite players.

Delpo still has not reached his 09 USO level yet. His balls lack penetration compared to that time. i still think he would probably beat Ferrer.

Tsonga has the the firepower to beat the top 4 players. His shots do not have the direction of the best players and he's also not as efficient.

Berdych has the power and direction on his shots to win a slam. But his efficency is no where near the top players (or even Tsonga's) and his game lacks margin, he hits the ball flatter than the other top players.

Ferrer has the efficiency and consistency but lacks the power.

Agreed. I was impressed with Del Potro against Federer at Wimbledon during the Olympics. If he can bring that form to the US Open, I think he's a genuine contender. Tsonga has the potential to cause an upset, but I can't see Berdych getting past Djokovic, Nadal or Murray.

Interesting match up at this tourney considering Delpo has won the USO, but I'd still pick Ferrer. He's won the last two meetings and leads the h2h by a decent margin.
