Fila Alfas are as good as it gets

As a die hard Adidas Barricade user, I was skeptical when reviewing the Fila Alfas. I tried the Fila Torneos and found them comfortable, but lacking in endurance. But I took a flyer and bought a pair of the Alfas at the TW discounted price. All I can say is these are the most comfortable hard court shoes I have ever worn. I have bad knees and a bad back, but symptoms are no where to be found after 2 hours of hard court play in these shoes. No idea on how long they will last, but with a 6 month guarantee, I assume I'm protected. The Alphas make the Barricades feel like a pair of Army boots.

If you are looking for a well cushioned, well made, economical pair of shoes, the Fila Alphas are worth a try.

I agree with you. i too was a Barricade wearer but I got some Alfa 2 and they are great. I feel great after 2 hours on hard court. My feet used to hurt after that in the barricades but feel great in the Alfa.

The Alfa's are fantastic shoes. I'm on my second pair. They are easily the most comfortable tennis shoe I've worn in 21 years of playing.

It's difficult to overstate the level of cushioning in the Alfa's. Pillowy, buttery, soft, like a temperdic space foam mattress on your feet - this is the cushioning I am describing.
If you like cushioned shoes, the Alfa is what you are looking for.

The uppers are nice too. They're made out of a soft leather that has a nice texture to it.

Moreover, the outsoles have a 6-month wear guarantee, too.
