Anybody here wearing these? I had the Axilus 2 and liked the outsole a lot but it didn't have very good cushioning in the forefoot or arch support. Curious if those have improved?

I'm also curious if there is anyone wearing this that could provide a review. Axilus 2 one of the only shoes that fits my feet well, only complaint is that the cushioning bottoms out before the outsole wears through.

What's the fit like with fila tennis shoes? I normally wear Asics.. Looked at the size chart and it looks like they come up small..

how can a company go so backwards in design? loved the speedserve energized....the "Axilus 3" looks like a cheap signature. i suppose the design looks very functional at least

Currently wearing axilus 2's. Hopefully these haven't got too tight in the forefoot
I saw a review on YT which claimed the forefoot was a bit narrower than the Axilus 2, but I haven't tried them on yet. I will be trying them on later today and will post back on how they fit.
Just for context, I fit perfectly in the Vapor 9.5 and have been struggling to find a replacement that holds my heel in place, has better cushioning than the Vapor 9.5, and isn't too narrow in the forefoot.
The only shoe that I've found with all of these in some degree, is the Revolt Pro 4.5, Hypercourt Supreme 2.0, Diadem Court Burst (super wide toe box for my foot), and all three Mizuno models out right now (but the lack of tongue padding on those just kill it for me or I would have 10 pairs of those by now).
I'm going to try the Axilus 3 and if it doesn't fit well, then I'm going to get the Revolt Pro 4.5s.

I have been wearing Wilson Rush Pro 4.0 and 4.5 and loving them. These Fila Axilus 3 look like them but a bit cheaper. Would like to hear from anyone that has tried both.

I just got a pair in dark blue. The pair looked improved from the previous version. The outsole looked that they added more protection for toe draggers and a little more structure in the hill for stability I guess. HOWEVER, the toe-box width looked and felt smaller. I’M SO DISAPPOINTED. Fila Axilus was my go to for my a little wider than normal feet. I haven’t tried them on court yet. I hope I do fine with this less width. The price wass tempting at the discounted value of $45. Sometimes, I wonder why it goes down so much. Design issues? Anyhow, I am going to change the insoles for a better and thinner ones and see how it goes. If it works, I get such a good deal for the price.

I have 2 juniors who like sliding on asphalt so we really test the outsole durability. A pair last one month at best. These don’t last long but are on par with Nike vapor cage, better than vapor pro or any Yonex. Extra room in to box helps in summer when feet get swollen.
If I knew their sheet won’t grow, I would buy enough for a couple of years.

Literally just bought the fila auxilus 3. I love it in many wats. Great traction, durable outsole, and comfortable heel. But man, I agree that for wide feet, especially in the forefoot, it took 2-3 sessions of 2 hours, before it finally loosened up.

somehow this shoe is awesome. im enjoying it the price is a bonus, and double bonus is others thinking they are junk. may switch back to a wilson rush pro for hardcourts but thats a me thing thinking the soles of the fila and gel res are higher off the ground

I’m incredibly sad and disappointed these seem to be discontinued. I’ve worn through 12 pairs and the thought of trying to find anything that fits as well and is anywhere near the always discounted price will be impossible. I play a lot of tennis and wear through shoes every month. I can’t afford to spend $120+ on shoes when I’m burning through em monthly, so I’ve been spoiled with the Axilus 3 at $45. Anyone have a recommendations for alternatives?

These were my answer to the GR9 being updated. Bummed they have discontinued this shoe as well!

I bought two pair when TW had 2 pairs for $86, and they are nice shoes, but seem a bit clunky, especially compared to the Babolat Jet Teres that I've been wearing. I don't know if I'll ever play in these, but they are nice for walking around.
