Filip Peliwo continues to disappoint (now even ditched by Galo Blanco)

No one can take pleasure in a story that seems destined to go nowhere in professional tennis. How sad...:( Soon Tennis Canada will ditch him, too. He's a costly underachiever. It's fascinating how somebody who did so well in the juniors can be such a loser in pro tennis.

To all of my Facebook friends,

After a year of association with Coach Galo Blanco, I will be returning to the Tennis Canada National Tennis Centre (NTC) in Montreal to continue my development over the next few months. I will be working with Guillaume Marx and Jocelyn Robichaud and will benefit from all the resources of the NTC to get my game to the next level. I want to thank Galo for his dedication and patience with me and want to wish him the best of luck. I will be heading to Toronto in a few weeks for the Futures event in Markham starting Sept. 15, and then off to Europe for two other Futures events (Nevers starting Sept. 29 and Saint-Dizier starting Oct. 6).

Thank you everyone for the continued support!

Admittedly he was pretty hyped up around these parts. Was supposed to have 2 slams by now

No, he wasn't.

FP is about 5'10" with a slight build. A pro career was always going to be a difficult thing. Noah Rubin will face the same issue but he's going to Wake Forest in the fall and if he's smart he'll stick around until he graduates.
