Final slam tally : Nadal 26, Fed 21, Djoker 18

Tsitsipas is the real deal. I saw him court side in Sydney in January and chatted with him and some coaches during the week - I have his autograph and pics/videos I can post. Right then I predicted he’d beat Federer at AO If they met before the final. He’s the modern Borg. I predicted big slam totals for Sampras and Nadal before they won one, and Tsitsipas is the next big champ. Forget about Medvedev/Kyrgios.

Lol hey man I like to be a little more cautiously optimistic than you. His last 3 years, he's got 5 slams. That is a best case end result for him, 5 more. A worst case is obviously 0 more slams. So I'm betting on something in the middle, 2-3 more slams. I will be good with 3 more :)

In 1990 I predicted Sampras would win 13 slams, Graf 25. In 2003 I predicted Nadal would win career slam & more FO than Borg. Many other predictions I can dig out that will blow yout mind.
Yeah Sir I believe you... But complete the whole story!!!! Talk about your failed ones too......

None of the big 3 is getting to 26 lol.

I just arrived from the future.
Surprisingly Nadal will NOT win any more French Opens!
Don't despair though, he's won 2 more US Open, 1 Wimbledon and 2 Australian.

FINAL TALLY: 24
AO: 3
FO: 12
Wimbledon: 3
US: 6

3 career grand slams and the record holder of 2 slams. Not too shabby (y)

Well if you met and had a conversation with Tsitsipas, that changes everything. Should have mentioned that earlier.

I have a great success rate. In 2003 I predicted Nadal would win career slam. I also predicted Nadal to beat Fed 60 63 60 in 2008 FO final, and 64 64 63 in 2008 Wimbledon final - this almost happened as Nadal led 64 64 43 and had Fed down 0-40. Fed held that game, but Rafa held to love in next game. so close : )

I have many other predictions
Not bad. Back in 2007 I predicted Federer’s mono, Soderling’s upset of Nadal, 2011 Djokovic, Kokkinakis banging Wawrinka’s girlfriend, Pepe Imaz, M. Cecchinato defeated Djokovic in 2018 French Open, Murray’s metal hip, and 40-15.

Djokovic will win 3 or more slams per year. Nadal is winning two or three more in his career. Fder is winning nada.

I give Rafa about 25% chance of winning calendar slam in 2020. I have a feeling Fed will do something magical at Wimbledon, but if not Rafa will take it.

A couple things.. Rafa needs to win the calendar slam if he plans to get to 26.. and as far as nadal doing it..a 25% chance is way off... maybe 2% throw in a gold medal in singles as well.

I'm a die hard Federer fan. But when it comes to GS titles I believe Rafa will be the greatest, probably somewhere between 25-30 GS titles. Choker will be 2nd, less than 25 GS titles. Federer will most likely stay at 20 GS titles, but he will be in 3-4 more finals, but loose in very close calls (like Wimbledon 2019....).

So what happens if Djokovic is still behind in the Slam race and wins 0 Slams after his 36th birthday? Will he keep playing till he is 86 years old despite not winning any Slam after his 36th birthday? Of course Djokovic will have to retire even if he doesn't hold the Slam record.

He has the age mileage and fitness edge, said scenario is unlikely

Since 2014, Nadal is either 1 step away from never winning another Slam or 1 step away from winning another slam.

I'm not saying Rafa will get to 25, in fact I think 21 or 22 will be the absolute maximum end number, but I'm sure you can go back through this very forum and find posts that were scoffing at someone saying Nadal would win 19 or that he'd win 5 slams after the age of 30, or that he'd win any after his slump in 2015 & 2016, or that he'd even be playing at 33 let alone be the world number 1.

Rafa is good at proving his critics wrong.

For the record here is my final slam count prediction:

Rafa 21
Djoker 20
Fed 20

If Fed can play well at that age another big 3 member can too

You aren't wrong, 10 years ago Fed fans were hoping that Nadal would be crippled by now and not closing in the slam count.

Wow! 25-30 GS titles??? So quite possibly another 11 Slams for Rafa??? o_O o_O o_O

What fitness edge is that? Djokovic has no fitness edge over Nadal. In fact, Djokovic has arguably less stamina than Rafa and probably gets tired easier (or at least that is what Novak fans said in Rome 2019). Can you imagine Rafa being tired just for playing two 3 sets matches in a row? Even if you disagree, there is no way that the opposite is true: that Novak has more stamina than Rafa. So at the very least they are equal in stamina.

And injuries not only affect Nadal but also Djokovic (remember the elbow injury in 2017-early 2018 and the shoulders injury at the USO 2019).

Djokovic winning 4 more slams? I find that hard to believe boo boo.

I know what you mean - I am really unsure about where Djoker will finish up but I kind of thing he has three more season in him where he can win a slam (pure speculation of course) and since 2011 he's been winning 1.6 slams a year on average. I can reasonably see that continuing for him to edge up to 20.
