Finding Fed ncode 90… with unlimited resources

With the re-release of the n90 it’s been fun watching everyone revisit the difference between retail and what Fed played with.

Now here’s a hypothetical question. If you had unlimited resources, how would you go about obtaining one of Federer’s actual n90s that he used? It certainly ain’t on ****…

if i have unlimited resources... i'd get my agent to reach out to Rog's agent first. surely Rog would have kept one or two, since the n90T is his most successful tool... or maybe get my agent to reach out to Wilson directly and see if they have kept any of Rpg's actual used n90T.... or something like that. lol

you missed out

I imagine some get donated for charity auctions/fundraisers and the majority end up collecting dust in storage. A painful thought to be sure for the Talk Tennis forums.
John McEnroe sold a pile of his old frames. Some he’d used (though he never said how or when) and others were NOS. He was pretty frank in saying they were just collecting dust in his basement and he just wanted to get rid of them.

Different occasion, but I seem to remember a storage unit somewhere holding Mac’s woodies and maybe some of the Max 200Gs as well from either Mac or Patrick. Plus a Davis Cup trophy. All ended up on The Bay.

What do pros do with their old sticks? Do they just get thrown out?
Ask them on X. Maybe someone will say. If I were a pro and knew how much thought and discussion went into my mystery racket on this forum I’d join and offer a way to get them to you folks for charity.
