Finishing short balls with Extreme Semi FH

Hey guys,
any tips on finishing short balls ,high or low, with Extreme Semi FH - Windshield Wiper follow through? I used Mild Semi or Extreme Eastern as you may call it and it was way too easy as I could just flat hit and it was all over.

P.S: Everything improved with Extreme Semi except finishing the short balls.

I initially thought you meant 3/4 western, then I read to the point that you say you use extreme eastern. I'm surprised since extreme eastern should be a lot easier to handle short ball.

If you still help, I recommend watching Jeff's course on forehand finish that might help you.

As to handle short ball, where ball contact below your knee or waist, require different way to finish.

Swing fast, aim 2' from sideline and 2' from baseline.

Nope , i use extreme semi western and i was just saying that when i used extreme eastern it was way too easy!
