First official team game. Any tips?

I'm a decent player on a HS Varsity team.
Our first official match for the season is tomorrow and I'm playing Doubles 3 with a friend.
We are playing a team that we beat 7-0 last year.
I'm still tensed up and nervous. (Which I should be, shouldn't I?) I don't want to lose it for the team.
I need any quick tips that can help me through the match.
Thanks.

just relax,

i have a game tomorrow too, number 1 doubles

heres what i do

listen to my songs on my ipod,
drink some water,
go to the bathroom :D
then jog around the school for a bit,
then stretch
and do some pushups
then split step

then play :D

Convince yourself that:
It's okay to lose.
You will learn more from losing a match.
Winners lost more in the past, but they kept playing.
It's important to have fun in sports; otherwise why do it?

Practice meditation. It will help you to concentrate during the game. When you concentrate, you will not be nervous.

no one has any right to be dissapointed in you if you put in 100% effort

people win and people lose, but if you are playing for a team then you gotta give it your best, if you are playing solo then you only really effect yourself so do what you want

would you blame another team mate if they lost?

i try to remember this:

attack with my feet
complete a full and fast swing

if i do that then i can play my game.

Why do people keep saying "It's okay if you lose"?
Well, I ended up playing Doubles 1 w/ a different partner because people on the team didn't have their health forms.
We won. 6-1 6-3.
It was kinda boring. Eh.
