Fischer Classic Pro repair

Hi folks I have an old Fischer 98" 21mm beam classic pro. I bought it in poor condition, but like it a lot, & would like to tidy it up. It uses 3 bumper strips, & the one around the top is badly worn in parts, and I'm wondering if I can get replacements, preferably slightly wider one's that will protect the frame a bit better than the original has done.

Anyone any suggestions as to sources?

Any fischer bumperguard is going to be hard to find now, but if you can find the latest 98" frame they made, it's worth a try. I agree that Fischer made their bumperguards too narrow.

Ok, thanks for the reply, even though it's bad news.

I contacted a stringer here in the UK & he said the same,- suggested using Crash Head Tape on it. I'm not familiar with it, a practical solution, or any other suggestions?

I took a punt on a bunch of old but unused racquets on UK **** today, & there's a 98-sized Fischer Pro in the bunch....so maybe a replacement.
