After considering this bag for quite a while (I really didn't NEED a new bag) I finally bought this bag. My wants were:

9-12 racquet bag
Thermo
Very well made with appropriate/useful pockets
A bag you don't see everyday

The Fischer seemed to fit the bill. Let me start by saying this thing is bullet proof. I will be tired of this bag LONG before it wears out. In fact I can't imagine ever wearing it out. Everything about this bag is sturdy; from the material and zippers to the straps and handles. This bag exudes quality. It is a MUCH better looking bag in person than it is in the pics. It is well designed, stiff, and BIG. It has two thermal compartments on each side that will easily hold 3-4 racquets in each one, and a middle compartment that runs the length. There is also a smaller pocket on one side for cell, iPod, change, wallet, etc. It has no separate shoe/wet clothing compartment, but it does come with an extra bag that will do the same thing. I actually like this better. I only carry three racquets so I put all three in one of the thermal sides and change of clothes, shoes, jacket, socks, etc. in the center. I like to use the other thermal side for drinks, towels, overgirps, etc.; anything that I might need during a match. Let me add that the thermal material does help to keep my drinks cold, I like that a lot. It also balances very well either on one's shoulder or as a backpack. The shoulder straps (which are very sturdy and comfortable) also snap on and off very easily so that I can store my wrist bands outside the bag.

On a scale of 1-10, I would rate this bag as a 10. I can tell that much thought went into the design and material of the bag, and I would not change anything. I will say again, this is a big bag; so unless you want a big bag I think for most people, the 6-combi will be big enough.

On a side note, this bag looks VERY similar to the Babolat Team Line Roddick 12 Pack Bag, and very well may be the same bag. If you want the quality without the originality, the Babolat might be a better deal for you. However, I would gladly pay another $20 to have a unique and unusual bag. When I go to a tournament, I don't see a Fischer bag every time I turn around, and I like that.

I hope this helps someone with their decision.

Wow, the bag looks nice and thanks for the review!

I just compared both Babolat Team Line Roddick and The Fischer and they almost look alike, just different cosmetics.

Sounds like you really like the bag!
Enjoy.

would I want to know if this thermobag has only a side pocket for the objects? in total the pockets are alone 4?

Does the accessory pocket (or any of the main pockets) have an organizer in it by chance like the volkl bags? My mega team 9 has seen better days so I'm looking for a replacement of good quality and ample room, this seems like it may fit the bill.

No organizer in the small side pocket. It doesn't bother me I guess, because I have never had a bag with an organizer in the small pocket. When I'm playing I have keys, iPhone, change, wallet, sunglasses case, tape, skittles, etc. in that pocket. I guess I have to dig a bit to find my keys and maybe some change, but I've never really had a problem with this. I've used it about a month now and still like it very much.

I'll tell you this... when I used bags from Dunlop and then Tecnifibre it didn't bother me... 1 accessory pocket and even without an organizer... I though nah I don't need that... but when I got a Yonex bag (2006 or 2007) with 3 accesory pockets I said to myself... man how could I live with only one accessory pocket?! I like the build quality of TF bags but the one small pocket really drives me off now.

I hear ya Auto. When I had my wilson bag way back when, the Acc pocket was good enough to throw it all in. Then I got the volkl bag with 2 acc pockets...one is my 'junk drawer' for grips and such, the other has an organizer so my ipod, cell and keys can all be stored without scratching each other and now I don't know how I could live any other way.

How is the build quality of the yonex bags?

Exactly!

How is the build quality of the yonex bags?

Well they're not as heavy duty like Tecnifibre bags but still better IMHO than Head bags but Yonex bags don't feature thermoguard so it's something for something I guess.

My next bag will probably be the Adidas Barricade Tour I'd prefer the old Fila Silver Metallic however they aren't available anymore...
