Yep good article. Nadal is a much better player on clay and a greater fighter.
Federer doesn't stand a chance at the FO.
I have a feeling Federer won't make it to the final this year.
You people are crazy every ten seconds its
-Federer won't win a slam
-Federer is delusional
-Why you prefer nadal as #1 and federer #2
-Now its Five reasons why federer can't beat nadal on clay
Hey at least it's only 5 reasons why he can't and not 50. There are probably at least that many. Seems like they are being nice.
The fact that it needs a thread just to say why is pointless
To beat Nadal Fed has to adopt a new tactic
go all out
needs 80% first serves at least
FH has to be on fire, thats his bread and butter
BH HAS to stay consistent, or semi consistent, with a slice as backup
and most of all
whenever theres a chance, do the UNTHINKABLE
attack the net on clay
make sure its a wide ball, know that Nadal likes to go cross court
Nadal will change tactics eventually but, thats all good, youll have him rattled by then
ATTACKING is the key, you cant beat nadal by out defending him
it would be completely hilarious if Fed plays Nadal again in the final and blows 20 break points haha
haha true that there are more than 5 reasons
Anyone who says Federer isn't past his prime is delusional.
Lmao, never count out the ambition of a champion, Federer has all the tools, and look, he finally got it last year
You know what they say....
Never Say Never!!!!
This thread should have been presented at Fed's RG trophy ceremony.
I bet Andre and John were epic facepalming after they read this on their laptops.
Altitude at Madrid Open means Nadal won't get past Murray, but if he did he would go down in straight sets to Federer.
Yeah, I'm not ready to count him out of anything yet.
I thought I remember Andre being at the match after Fed had won it during the trophy routine I lipread Agassi saying "I am so happy for you man".
Right or have I lost my mind?
I have not seen the moment you're referring to, but I'm sure he was happy for Fed. After all, it was a very similar story in the 1999 final where Andre came back from two sets to love to win the title and complete a career slam. He can definitely relate to him.
These are good photos of Rafa and show just how much he wants to win the WTF. I have never seen him so pissed at his match with Berdych. I was laughing so hard and wish I could have heard was he was saying.
Sorry for the derailment.
Fed probably won't ever beat Rafa at the FO but I wouldn't say its impossible.
Yeah I think you're right http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Iob14Vp-_8#t=4m50s
Fed said Andre told him it felt like it was his destiny to win the FO someday.
Separate names with a comma.
