Flex 940, clamp Base upgrade, which one?

Hi Guys, my eagna's flex 940, cone lock failed on me yesterday when restringing. I am thinking to replace it with Swivel Clamp Base from Pro's pro.

Have anyone tried it? Does it fit on Flex 940 at all?

Make sure that your clamps will fit the hosels. I bought one of those Pro's Pro base clamps, and the first problem I had was that my machine (an old version of the Hawk 800, with a table more like the current Flash 920) doesn't use the aluminum bars that the base clamps are mounted on/in that yours uses; but the second problem was that my clamps were slightly larger diameter than the hosels.

Before you buy those rails and base clamps from overseas you may want to make sure they will fit on you machine. The rails you're considering look much shorter than the standard rails on the Flex 940. You may be better of talking to Maxline.

I have a Flex 940, and the threads stripped out so I couldn't tighten the base clamps. I bought new parts from McMaster Carr and it tightens much more smoothly than before. Much cheaper than new bases.

The actual parts are listed in the thread above. (the last entry to that thread is me, after my repair... I quoted the parts that I bought.)

Thank you guys... appreciated! I could not wait and did some researches last night, bought 2 of this, Gamma Quick Action Clamp base, MQAC-11. I got inspired by this thread, http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php/97141-GAMMA-quick-action-base-clamps-MQAC-10-and-MQAC-11

From what I have read, everything should be fit except MDAC-11 is taller than MDAC-10, I would have to cut it down little bit. I am thinking to buy this Ridgid tube cutter, from homedepot, http://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-15-Tubing-Cutter-32920/100015820
What do you guys think?

Same problem as Adles, threads stripped out so I couldn't tighten the base clamp.
