Flexpoint Prestige?

I'm about to by a prestige, but with the new flexpoints and all, I'm worried that a couple months after I buy my prestige the flexpoint will have been out... Have any prestige pros switched to flexpoint? I know safin hasent so maybe the rackets not going to be out for a while. Final question... should I wait, or buy now?

I think you're assuming that somehow the Flexpoint will be better than the LM Prestige. Newer does not necessarily mean better when it comes to tennis racquets. In fact, the opposite is usually true. Older racquets tend to be better than newer racquets. That's why the better players still use the Prestige Classic which came out over 15 years ago.

BTW, Safin will continue to use the Prestige Classic even when the Flexpoint comes out. He is currently using a LM Prestige paintjob. When the Flexpoint comes out he will simply switch to a Flexpoint paintjob. The racquet underneath the paint will still be the same Prestige Classic that he's used for over 10 years. Same is true of most other pro players on tour, e.g., Agassi, Federer, Hewitt, etc.

Do yourself a favor and pick up a Prestige Classic now on TW classifieds or on ****. Then when the new stick comes out, get one of those. See which one you like better.

Also think you'll find the flexpoint is ANOTHER racquet to their range, rather than replacing anything.

It has nothing to-do with the Prestige line... LM Prestige is the current racquet and very good it is!

ya i kn0 wow >_< really i like my ti radical more than the liquid metal one i have... ill probally pick up a classic prestige its cheaper too and it has just the right flex. i thought the i was too still and lm was ya any way thanks! Where can i find the prestige on tw i cant find it ne where. Do i have to get it used?

Yup, have to get it used, unless you want to settle for some weird grip size and pay $150 for it. You can post a wanted advertisement with your preferred grip size, or just search on ****; there's been a lot moving since Safin won. Just check the other person's references and you should be fine.

hmm 150... after playing with the classic, its fairly the same as compared to the liquid metal, and i have money to spare so why not ahha the prestige would just be too badass though ahah and i would save money but o well ^_^

p.s. If it was me, I'd buy one of those cheap i.Prestige Mid's, rather than expensive PC or LM's
