is it really worth it? i love my liquidmetal radicals. leaded up to about 11.8 grams on both. i thought the flexpoint radical midplus was my holy grail last year when i demoed it. i just started playing for a couple months though, so i couldn't handle the weight(yes i am weak) but i could hit amazing shots. i really want to try it again and see what its like but is it really worth it? i want to get one when price go down for them(hopefully) since the microgel version is coming out

Don't really know a lot about Radical's but I dislike them. Feels stiff and the control feels bad (maybe it's just me).

I have an FXP Radical Team for the kids. They like it but I can't stand it. Small sweetspot, not very good at net and big lack of feel. A friend told me that he likes the regular FXP Rad much better.

Hmmmm.... I disagree with both phucng_10 and Movdqa. When I use it, I have really good control, like I can go down the line or hit a sharp crosscourt shot whenever I want, and it feels solid. You *could* say stiff I guess, but It's more solid and crisp to me. I used it with kevlar in it. The sweetspot's decent, not as big as some others, but I think it's fine. I think there's plenty of feel, and is pretty decent at net. The balance automatically makes it not a net racket, but the light stat weight kinda counterbalances this.

Are you talking about the Team or the regular FXP Radical?

The PK Redondo and Wilson K90 have much better feel than the FXP Radical Team.

Head Liquid Metal Radical: $80, Flexpoint: $180. If you don't have anything better to do with the extra $100, why not go for it.

But, when I demoed the Flexpoint MP and OS (Jan. 06) I wasn't able to notice any appreciable difference between the Flexpoints and my trusty LM Radical MP and OS, so I didn't buy.

I've been playing with Head Radicals (Radical Tour then LM Radical) for about 11 years. That change in racquet was significant (for me).

you should try the older technologies like intelligence and titanium if you know anyone who has one.....i really like the feel of the i rad...i hear a lot abt the ti try giving them a try!!!!

the truth is, i love the i. radical also and am trying to get one. this one girl uses it and trying to get 03 whites. she said that she would give me her i. radical once she gets her o3 whites cause she just doesn't want it. i offered to pay her but she said she'll just give it to me
