The one good thing that has come out of this absolute domination by the "Big 4" is that, with solid PR and marketing strategies, the profile of tennis has been raised over the last 10 years or so.

All we need is Murray to buy himself some Chinese Medicine balls then I'll be fan dabby dozy.

A little stats about Laureus.
Since 2000, 16 sportsman of the year awards have been given, while the 2003 award to Armstrong has been rescinded.
Of the 16 awards, Fedalovic together won 8 for tennis, Bolt 3 for track and field, Schumacher and Vettel 3 for Formula One, and Woods 2 for golf.
Individually,
1. Federer 4
2. Bolt / Djokovic 3
4. Woods / Schumacher 2
6. Nadal / Vettel 1

Is that really the Big 4, or mainly Rafa and Roger? I don't see Murray or Djokovic drawing nearly as much water...... This is not a comment on their games, more wondering if they have done the same to bring people into tennis and generally raise the profile of the game worldwide.

I wonder which ATP or WTA player has publicly congratulated Novak and Serena for winning the Laureus Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year awards.
