Following 'break,' Bernardes again umpiring Nadal matches

I don't think they have kissed and make up, but rather ATP decided to bide time and again introduce Carlos in Rafa's matches. Any new warnings by Carlos will trigger the dormant volcano to active. ;)

No, I quoted your idiotic dribble correctly. And don't try and justify your pathetic hatred, since when is butt picking and OCD habits against the rules? Who are you to say he can't do that within the time limit? And arranging hs bottles is when he sits at the change of ends or before a match. Has Nadal, or anyone, been penalised for time-wasting when they aren't on the court?

Hatred?? Get a life. I actually wish Nadal success this season and am happy to see him playing well again. If anything your posts are the ones dripping in anger and hate. Its easy to call people idiots and stupid from the safety of your computer. Hope that makes you feel better about yourself.
 
So, is Nadal keeping it brisk? Don't think Bernardes is the only one to regularly enforce the service rules, but why on earth don't the majority of them?

What does Lahyani do, out of curiosity? Love his authoritative overrules that reverberate for miles and miles in the surrounding countryside :D

Only an idiot would enforce time violations.
The longer RAFA is on the court, the more entertainment there is for everyone.
 
ATP probably just assigned CB randomly to matches, Nadal cannot pick the chair umpire that oversees his matches, They have to make a living too, that he gets excited about it is more like a blame game than CB is out to get him.

RAFA leads all players in facebook, twitter and instagram, and its not for his writing skills.
Also I've noticed that RAFA had more crowd support than Federer at 2009, 2012 and 2014 Australian Open meetings.
The world can't get enough of RAFA.

One of the biggest reasons I HATE his guts! This guy just makes the game unwatchable! I still have nightmares of trying to watch and tape AO in 2012 going 5:53! That was criminal and Nole only gets involved in the tactic to get back at Rafa! When he plays other players he doesn't grunt or bark as much and gets on with it! To punish Rafa, he gives it all back and maybe that's why I'm such a fan of Nole's now! Heaven knows I prefer a much more aggressive style of play, but he doesn't offend me like some other human backboards; Berdych, Ferrer, Rafa, & Murray! ;-(

I still remember that AO final vividly. Not necessarily the match itself, but exactly what I was doing in the background. Got up at 8am, turned on the TV, had breakfast at 9am, watched some more, went to the gym for an hour and a half later in the morning, came back, had lunch at 1:30 and it was still going

Unfortunately I live in the States! The match came on around 2 am or so! That meant I had been up all day w/o a nap! If I had known what was to come, I would have just slept through it! It just went on and on and on and I watched it from start to finish, unable to get to bed until after 9 am! I was trashed and will never forgive Rafa and his lame gamesmanship just making the world wait for him to be ready to play! He would probably be held under 10 majors if umpires had resisted his BS and made him get his arse back in the service box in a timely fashion! He stole many a match from players over the years; esp. Roger at the FO! ;-(

If you don't like seeing RAFA on the court, then I can understand why you want his matches to be shorter.
I prefer that he is on the court for as long as possible, because he's the most entertaining tennis player on earth.
 
It's astounding that his fans are trying to defend the fact that he was able to have control over umpires in his matches. That was just plain wrong, no matter how you look at it. It's well known that Nadal wasted time, just ask fellow players like Kyrgios who speak about it to umpires during matches.

Well look at the legal system. In society, nobody agrees with every law, in fact you'll find most people think that MANY laws should be changed. That is why people frequently break the law (for example downloading/sharing movies).

So it shouldn't be a shock that many of us don't agree with the 25 second rule. Many of us don't think RAFA is doing anything wrong. And it would appear many umpires don't think RAFA is doing anything wrong (or not wrong enough to intervene).

Only a sheep would blindly follow every rule/law.
Its clear that rules/laws don't always correlate with the difference between right and wrong....because everyone has an opinion on what is really right, and what is really wrong.

I disagree with almost all laws. Especially Resolution 93 (Taxes for the mentally enfeebled). Why should @Tennis_Hands have to pay more to buy scissors at BBB than the rest of us?

Sure, let's look at the legal system, if you were in court you couldn't demand a different judge unless they were doing something blatantly wrong. And Carlos is following the rules WHICH SHOULD BE DONE! In everyday life you follow the rules. People think drinking at age 18 in America should be allowed but it isn't and therefore you wouldn't do it in front of the police. You follow the rules!

And if an umpire enforces the rules, you don't request to have him not umpire your matches. DISGRACE

Its only a request.
Players have done it regularly, forever.
Plus the tour problem wanted to help RAFA because Carlos did the belly laugh when RAFA was changing on the court. Carlos deserved to be punished by the ATP.
