Took a hard step last night and felt something go in my right foot. shoes didn't have great arch support. Pain is on the inside bottom left side of right foot, directly below the ankle bone just before where the heel starts. Is this a plantar strain or something like that? I've only have very mild PF in the past. Not very pleasant to walk on and who knows when I'll play again.

does the skin turns yellowish?

I started to suffer from plantar pain for a few months. It only slowly got better as I started to used a massage gun on the spot and worked the whole leg.
It is all connected. Still played and it is 95% healed.

Can’t tell from your description, but there’s a very important ligament called the spring ligament that runs in that general area
