  • Two or more Slams
  • Preferably one FO
  • A few Masters and getting ahead of Nadal (who I believe will win at least one M1000 next year)
  • Record-tying 6th WTF
  • Another YE #1
And the cherry on top, continued meltdown from Federer fans:
  • Clinging to any wins Fed can get over Djokovic
  • More cries of "weak era" and "no competition" (the irony!)
  • The usual "boring" and "unloved" comments

1) Record Masters 1000 leader - Overtaking Nadal's 27
2) French Open (Complete Career slam)
3) Record 6th Australian Open - Will tie him with Roy Emerson
4) Overtake Nadal or Fed in H2H
5) Win Cincinnati Masters

Any of the 5 should be his goals for next year, I do think his level will drop off somewhat as he will not be reaching finals left, right and centre like this year but his year may be similar to 2012..not excellent but good enough for his standard..1 GS, 3-4 Masters and a WTF to cap it off.

Anything is possible right now for Djoko the superman. I just hope he dominantly 2016 and carries on the momentum from this year. I think he learnt from his 2011 to 2012 year. I expect him not to drop off like before.

Overtake Lendls 18 finals in a row. Currently at 15. Overtake Sampras career titles.

French Open, Olympic singles gold, U.S Open are the 3 titles I want to see him win most in that order. Cincinnati and Australian Open would tie for 4th.

I would be happy if he won Wimbledon of course, but compared to those it is the title I least need to see him win. I already think 3 Wimbledon titles for him is amazing when people were saying for years his worst surface is grass, and anything more he wins there is just gravy. I have a higher urgency to see him win other titles than that. If I could be told you can make Novak win 3 slams next year and you pick which one he doesnt win Wimbledon would be my first choice despite it being the most prestigious, and the Australian Open would be 2nd as much as I love him continuing to build his legacy there.

I put the U.S Open so high as the one question people put on his hard court abilities it seems (along with not winning Cincy I guess) is not winning more titles there, considering he is the dominant hard court player of the post Federer dominance era.

I put the Olympic singles gold so high not for legacy reasons, but emotional ones, and how much it means to him.

1. Win the Australian Open - his 6th to tie Emerson's all time record (not just Open Era)
2. Win Roland Garros - to complete the CGS
3. Win Rio Olympics Gold or Silver Medal
4. Stay No. 1 the whole year and break the 200 weeks mark
5. Win Cincinnati - to complete the Set of Masters and become the all-time Masters leader

Realistically: CYGS+OG+9M+WTF.
Wow, you really believe in him, don't you? I just don't want to raise my hope too high and get disappointed. Djokovic needs to apply what he learned last time and keeps his killer instinct in big matches like he did this year.

I feel like a silver medal would be a let down, given that this is probably his last chance to grab an OG.

1) French Open, first and foremost
2) Olympic Gold
3) Cincinnati, especially since I plan to be there again next year
4) Defend US Open
5) Finally make out with Stan on court

Those are the main ones. I know he'll add much more along the way, so I'm looking forward to the ride.

I don't know if I'm allowed to vote, since I'm primarily a Stan fan, but I love Novak, too. So I thought I'd throw my thoughts in.

Of course Gold is the dream, but I'm trying to keep it as grounded as possible.
Should probably add "defend US Open" to that list - it's been a while since anyone has done that.

Anything will be good. He has done so much. Most important is that he continues enjoying his tennis and stay god in private life. It seems that he is very ambitious and that he will have a go at weeks at No1 and slam numbers. I think that he is very motivated to silence the crowd. For me, his level of play against Nadal and today was incredible. I think that Nadal and Federer will remain his main competitors in the next few years.

I don't want to be too greedy although that list looks great...In fact, I will let him enjoy his break and we will see where his head is at come January. One tournament at a time I guess.

He's not getting a CYGS so stop talking about it. In the real world I want AO or USO + FO + OG. 2 slams, a career slam and Olympic gold would be amazing.

God forbbid 3 Slams and he's closing in on Rafa while the Fed contingent starts to sweat.

I think AO-RG is enough to catch Rafa. 4 in a row will be done. 4 slams in a row is a mind boggling achievement.

It'll be an argument but here's the reality: Fed fans are insecure about Djoker. Rafa fans obv hate him. Fed fans won't accept Djoker over Rafa til he hits 14 due to insecurity.

Djokovic is dangerous now. I know some Serbs and these guys can be very greedy. When you let them get one, they usually develop a taste for more.

> 2 slams, AO + RG. This way he gets a 6th AO title and ties his record with Emerson, plus the CGS and completes the Novak slam by winning Wimby, USO, AO and RG all consecutively.
> Olympics Gold would be a nice thing to have, it's a rarity where you only get once every 4 years.
> Cincinatti title to complete the Masters collection

Pretty much most of the things he doesn't have.
Don't care about the H2H. Anything else is gravy, things like adding more WTF titles, adding other Master titles to surpass Nadal can all come gradually. If he wins 2 slams then he'll be guaranteed to end the year as #1 again imo so things like that fall into place.

Considering that the Olympics are held in the summer, Cincy may have to wait another year.

Federer, Nadal, Murray, Wawrinka, youngsters...
If nobody cares about Djokovic, why is he by far the main subject?
You are one of the leaders of the anti-Novak propaganda, so I simply asked you how does your job work.

And why on earth should I write about Wawrinka or Murray f.e. after Djokovic won the 2015 WTF?

It's basically 1986 all over again. Just like with Lendl back then, people are waiting for Djokovic to stop winning everything, he's destroying the sport right now with his dull domination. Basically, I've got nothing against players who win a lot in a year unless they play with a boring mechanical style and they just show NOTHING on the court. It's freaking boring.

I'll give you this, this is not Djokovic's fault. I'm blaming the ATP for regularly slowing all the surfaces so that we have "exciting" 40-shot rallies EVERYWHERE. If we had a mix of slow, medium and fast surfaces Djokovic wouldn't have a prayer of winning this much and tennis would've been way more exciting.

Yeah the Olympics will probably foil his Cincy title dreams another year as I am sure the Olympic Gold will take priority for this year. Hopefully he can finally win Cincy in 2017 I guess.

I would rate the individual tournaments in this order of priority:

1. Winning Roland Garros.
2. Winning the US Open.
3. Winning Wimbledon.
4. Winning the Australian Open. (General principle: the fewer times you've won a Slam, the more one more title at that event counts for).
5. Winning the Olympics.
6. Winning the World Tour Finals. (I think it's a slightly more important tournament than the Olympics; however, it's not so much more important that winning it for a sixth time is worth more than winning the Olympics for the first time).
7. Winning Cincinnati.
8. The other Masters are all pretty much on a par, as far as I'm concerned.

Write about how Wawrinka has done this season, about Murray going for DC glory and how he might do in 2016... Be creative, for sure there is something else to write except how Novak is irritating you with his success.
Keep your taste to yourself. Djokovic is not going to lower his level on purpose so others may beat him. Someone should step up, because Djokovic is one class above everyone else now. He won a big title at every surface and every environment this year. Every court being slow is a lie, but that is not new when it comes from the likes of you. Next year Cincinnati will be also slow for you, especially if he manages to win it. Quit with the excuses you are only making yourself look worse.

At least I'm not a glory hunter like yourself and I keep rooting for the same player no matter how much he wins. What are you gonna do when Djokovic starts losing? Switch to a "Kyrgios_is_the_best#1" name or something?

It's puzzling how Novak fans can be glory hunters when he has less stats than Nadal and Federer, which leads me to believe you don't know what the term means since a glory hunter would by default choose to root for a top player or a sports team without having any knowledge on the player/team other than their accomplishments.

A new member joining doesn't mean they are a glory hunter, are you saying a Federer fan who joined in 2007+ or a Nadal fan who joined after 2010+ etc is also a glory hunter? It's convenient you don't apply this dumbfounded logic to your fanbases.
