This looks to me more like 2018 USO. Nadal somehow wins final set tiebreak in the QF then proceeds to give walkover to a guy with big serve who proceeds to lay an egg against Djokovic. The scenarios are eerily similar
Yep - one big factor in Novak's 2018 win over Nadal in Wimb SF - was that Nadal was tired from the Delpo EPIC in the previous round. In set 5 - he faded away.

Nobody wants to face a Kyrgios having a great serving day. Not Nadal, not Djokovic.
He doesn’t have the focus over 5 sets though. The guy is talented and a great server. Still his game breaks down over long matches with his rash play, lapses of concentration and poor fitness. I think he can give them game but seriously doubt he can get 3 sets off them

Season 4 is quite good after a pile of garbage that was season 3. It improved the villain so much and not just a faceless monster with vague motivations
Thanks for the details. Is it possible to skip season 3 and go from Season 2 to season 4 directly? Will I be able to understand Season 4 or is there too much backstory.
I would rather save my time wasted watching an insipid season 3.

Talking about 2018USO where he had an epic with Thiem and struggled in the earlier rounds against Khachanov. Its very similar to that. There also Novak played a bunch of bums

Not much. You just need to know eleven loses her powers at the end of season 3 and eleven and will’s family move away from hawkins to live in California. Also Hopper dies trying to save the world or atleast we are meant to think he dies. With this knowledge you can start season 4

Thank you so much Kind Sir. Helps a lot. On to Season 4 now. Probably do a binge watching season 4 after Wimbledon.

Very true. Good memory. Nadal has had so many epics.

Fed kept attacking DelHotro’s forehand. Big mistake.

You don't spit in the wind
And you don't play chicken with Del Potro's forehand.

Kyrgios doesn’t have the mental strength to win anything
Name a time he choked a match against any of the big 3. Every single other under-35 player can't even serve out sets against Djokodal - but Nick doesn't choke when playing them and never has. Sure, he usually loses but it's not because of his weak mentality.

Good luck to him trying to beat the 2 greatest players of all time back to back who have 42 slams between them. After he has already went 5 sets against 2 mugs already this tournament

Well sure if you’re sooooooooo confident that Nick will not make it then why not bet $1000 or even $100000000 on Nadal/Djokovic. After all you’re 1000000% sure about that, so it should be easy money right?? Lmao

I think Nick is a great grass player and box office entertainment. He has a chance but we have to be realistic. He’s playing the 2 greatest players of all time who are fierce competitors. No one has ever beaten both them back to back to win a slam, not even the great roger Federer. Provided Nadal is okay physically which I believe he will be then I think it’s to much.

Nick for me has to many unforced errors and mental breakdowns to pull it off in my view. It will be fun to watch though.

I’m not into gambling as it’s a mugs game. Just stating my opinion.

I dont see Djokovic choking like Fed. Djoker would have to be completely gassed like the US Open final last year. And DJoker hasn't played enough tennis this year to be gassed

Great post. Well reasoned as usual.

Man I saw that UsOpen Weekend Live. Both SF and Final.
Yes, Fed made a boneheaded decision to allow Delpo back - but Delpo played really well too. That forehand winner on the run he hit to win the game was amazing.
And Delpo in the last 3 sets of that match - his forehand was an absolute MONSTER shot. I've never seen a bigger shot on a tennis court.
Fed had one bad moment, but Delpo had the mental chops to make him pay and take the match.
This is SORELY lacking in the current next gen.
And don't forget that if that match had been played without the Hawkeye, Federer would have won in straight sets.
Thank God, it wasn't.
A well-deserved victory for the Argentine.

Nick’s only chance is to dose Djokovic’s water with gluten and to channel some Hellenic energy pyramids to interfere with Djokovic’s Bosnian pyramid energy

I was shocked to see Nadal’s improvement in serve speed. I really want to know how much pain he was in and how he overcame it to just keep pushing.

He said he changed his serve motion so maybe 2010 shoulder serve is back???
even that his serve is back, djoker will know where rafa's bh is

Del Potro won USO 2009 mainly due to Federer being about as thick headed and stubborn as he has ever been on a tennis court.
It was poor umpiring that day..allowing delpo to challenge crucial calls after the pemissable time.

But delpo outhitted Fed in 4th and 5th set regardless of the fact that Fed should have won it in 3 had he avoided a meltdown at the end of 2nd set.

Wouldn't mind seeing Kyrgios winning Wimbledon beating the Big 2 back to back.

However the ways things are going, I agree with previous posters who have commented that 2022 Wimbledon is currently playing out very similarly to 2018 US Open.

I have not seen anyone else saying that except me

Kyrgios doesn't have sound functioning head on his shoulders. So doubt he pulls it off. Anyway beating Djokodal back to back in Slams is one of toughest tasks in Tennis. I doubt he has enough game to achieve it.
