Need some Forehand help... any suggestions?
Get someone to throw you a tennis ball and catch it. Have them do it faster and faster. The result seems like magic, but really all it is keeping your eye on the ball.
Same deal with a forehand, watch Fed on YouTube in slow mo, even at his level he looks down and watches the ball.
Watch your opponent and determine where you want it to go, then when the ball comes look DOWN and see the ball hit the racket, if you don't see your racket on every shot you can't make any shot.
By the way, I'm not teacher, but I am aggresively teaching my son, so I notice what I do, and that is looking down, watching the ball the entire time, then it's not magic, but easy.
Mick's right. Keep your head still helps a lot. Even if you think you are, you might not be XD. Really emphasise keeping your head still. When your body is rotating, your body is very top heavy. It essentially means that a slight movement with your head will radically affect what the rest of your body is doing.
ok thank you very much
Take a video of yourself, you'll see what isn't working.
