Found a Prince CTS Response MP "VIP" Tennis Racquet

Well, today I came across a good condition Prince CTS Response MP Tennis Racquet, and purchased it for $10. The racquet looks like anyother CTS Response except for "VIP" inscribed in the inner side of the throat, right next to the Prince US Patented info. I never seen this before so I am curious what this mean other than "very important person". Any thoughts and comments are appreciated. Thanks

That would be a shop or salesman's demo, advisory staff frame or one of any number of rackets that, in theory, would not have a warranty. In other words, the frame was not to be sold. In reality, I believe quite a few of those hit the streets of Atlanta in the '90s. I don't recall that they 'suffered' from any structural or cosmetic defect...they were simply marked as 'not for sale'.
