Hi, just go to http://tinypic.com/ and upload your image there. Once you've uploaded it, Tinypic will give you a link. Copy that link and either paste it here or enter it using the insert image button on the post new reply screen.

anyone using anything other than stencil ink? Would a big fat black marker work well too?

A black marker does work. However, be prepared to spend some time coloring each string and have it come off on the ball quickly. (Not that quickly, about 40% faster than stencil ink.)

Many of these images are not appropriate for stenciling. For you to be able to stencil, it has to be arranged so that all parts of the stencil is connected (i.e. the hole in the P of Prince has to be still attached to the rest of the stencil).

Otherwise, the interior parts would be hard to place and make it stay there which would make consisten good looking stenciling impossible.

Stenciling is not just about blowing images and cutting them out. There has to be some thought behind it.

I printed out the paper, cut it out with a straight edged thing, taped it onto my strings and it worked pretty well

Thanks to Danstevens for the apple logo

Me using the skull stencil from a few pages back. Thanks for making these and putting them up for all to use. I think I may go with the Star Wars symbols next time around.

FYI... I printed out the skull on regular 8-1/2" x 11" paper. Cut it out and taped it to a plastic "Garage Sale" sign that I picked up at WalMart. I think it was like $1.89 or something... My Wife took an X-acto knife to it and cut out the skull stencil. I trimmed it to fit my KPS88 frame and have used it on every string job that I do for myself.

Thanks again to the OP.

I was thinking of creating a Dharma Iniciative stencil, batman signal, traffic signals, other superheroes' logos (other than superman, there's plenty of other marvel and dc comics heroes), some basic dinosaur figures (e.g. velocirraptor, T-Rex), rock band logos, sports logos (nba, nfl, etc.), energy drink logos, etc.

Also, here's some free software logos: http://www.openstickers.com/

Checked out some Linux stencils... kinda looked ok but I'm a Windows fan heheh.
