    READ THE RULES!!!

Feelin' in a good mood...:) unless I have to temporarily disqualify anybody so again read the rules.

    Rules:

-You get 3 total guesses at the moment they must be made in this thread.
-ANYBODY THAT EDITS POSTS IN THIS THREAD WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO GUESS AGAIN UNTIL YOU GET UNLIMITED GUESSES. ANY GUESSES IN THOSE EDITED POSTS WILL NOT BE COUNTED. Don't edit posts.
-DON'T GUESS MORE THAN THE ALLOWED GUESSES. YOU MAY BE CORRECT BUT I WILL NOT COUNT IT. I WILL TREAT IT AS IF THE POST DID NOT EXIST AND YOU MAY NOT GUESS AGAIN UNTIL YOU GET UNLIMITED GUESSES. THIS MEANS YOU MAY HAVE TO RESTATE YOUR GUESS AFTER I ALLOW YOU BACK INTO THE CONTEST.
-Guesses must include string names AND gauges. I may allow more guesses and give hints in the future.
-Winner receives the full hybrid in the picture.
-Free shipping only to the contiguous U.S. Others will have to pay for shipping.
-If your username is SOY78, you are banned from this contest!

Not it. By the way, I took the 7 in redcode to be 17. I will may eventually allow more guesses in some time...
    Everybody else be careful.

I made it more lazy friendly. Read the bold. If you miss anything else in the rules, that's too bad. Good luck...

You must have read the rules, thanks. Only your original post counts. Sorry...

I'll be back to check answers tomorrow.

WE HAVE A WINNER!!! PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL. Subject header will be "TW-forum !!!Free String Contest!!!". Careful w/ that spam filter. You get 4 days to respond back, that should be plenty sufficient.

Now please don't go emailing each other with that subject line.

I will announce the winner and answer once he/she replies back.

And you may hold off on your guesses for now unless the string may have to go to the second person, then feel free to continue to answer.

Nice pick up. Unfortunately he might have only known half of the hybrid.:)

Not trying to sound like a jerk or telling you how to run things, but why wouldn't you just post the answer and who got it right? That seems really strange to me.

Did you check your email ;)

The person I sent an email to had the link in their profile.

Just in case it the prize would go to a second person instead. But whatever, I just gave away who won...;)

So I got that response and the winner is...

    Gugafan for guessing IsospeedControlClassic/BigAce17.

    Thanks for participating.

Now if any of you may be able to help me out, I am looking for a string similar in feel to Topspin Poly Polar 1.25 and the big ace did not cut it for me. Does anybody have any suggestions? I know there was a thread about this before I will do a search later but if you have suggestions that would be great.

Too late, but I would have guessed it was Global/Gaucho Gut (basically the same thing) 16 and Big Ace 16/17, or Klip Legend 16.
