Fremont Tennis Center/Wilson Baiardo stringer

Semi-Pro
We at the Fremont Tennis Center are going to have our new Wilson Baiardo stringing machine come in this week. I was at a demo in SF about a month ago, and I'll tell you this machine is pretty special.

Multi programmable positions for each stringer, ability to raise and lower the machine and to tilt the base so that you can work on a different plane. Just a few of the features. Can't wait to get in and give it a serious test drive.

Fremont is afghan central! You're not afghan, are you?

Ah, shame (no offense). I was hoping for another Afghan brethren!

Played with a Baiardo that was being demo'd at a shop near my home. Definitely lots of bells and whistles and a very state of the art, exotic looking machine. Two things about it that seemed to make it a difficult piece of equipment to buy - 1. It is VERY expensive with the final price dependant on how much other Wilson products they would commit to sell. 2. Lots and lots of moving parts. In the end, this shop opted to stick with their 3 Prince Neos' equipped with Wise 2086's.

Hey JoeyG, any update on the Baiardo? I'm in San Jose and I wouldn't mind driving up to FTC to check out the machine.

I went onto the Baiardo site, they are having a demo at Courtside in Los Gatos and Alpine Hills in Portola Valley some time in August. I hope to attend either one and see what this machine is all about.

hey joey I Maltese

Hi joey I am a master racquet technician and Maltese to boot.I have strung with the new wilson machine and it is a gem. Has all the bells and whistles.the price tag scares me away.

Regards

Hi Guys,

The Wilson machine is excellent. I really like that the tray rotates so that you don't need to bend over the mmachine to string.

Nice to know there are some other Maltese Americans on the boards at TW.
