Congratz to Novak and his true classy fans...ala Djokovic2011 and Swordtennis.

Not as disappointed as the last 3 major finals...since it is Novak first. I can only hope someone new wins at Wimbledon and US Open.

Congratulations to Novak fans everywhere. Commiserations to fans of the Muzziah. I think he will get his time to shine at RG... his game on clay has improved by leaps and bounds.

Did you stop following basketball after 2008? What year is this?

What the heck are you talking about?
What does 2008 have to do with anything?

If we're discussing titles won as lead dog, then only MJ, Duncan, Magic and Shaq have won more.

None of Duncan, Magic or Shaq have more mvps than Lebron ofcourse.
We're talking about the player who is:

#2 all time in PER
#1 all time in vorp
#1 all time in playoff ws/48
The single best scorer in elimination game history (3 ppg)
The single best scorer in game 7's history (30.8 ppg)
Most 40 point playoff games since Jordan
3rd all time in playoff assists
4th all time in playoff points (will be 2nd behind Jordan within 12 months)

All at the age of 31.
Don't come at me with team accomplishments either. As in individual player, nobody since Shaq (possible with the exception of Curry ) is even on a patch with lebron.

And certainly not the 24.9 ppg 44%fg career scorer who averages 40% in nba finals and 25% in finals game 7's.

I always had tremendous respect for Murray which has even grown after his runner-up speech. Commies to his real fans guess I know how you feel. You can't imagine how I felt after that heartbreaking SF 2013 when I was in Paris. Finally the pain has gone, thank you Novak.

For Andy, I think he's not far away anymore from his winning days should be a very exciting Wimbledon this year.

Since arrival of Becker Djokovic had doubled his Slam count winning 6/10 (60%) Slams events played. He certainly deserves huge credit in this success story. Without his assistance, Djokovic would not have became the most dominant player in History of Tennis. Props.

Greatest player of at least last 15+ years.
He will recieve his 6th ITF award soon and has already qualified for WTF where he will eliminate Feds WTF titles advantage over. Today he has eliminated Nadal and Petes greatness along with any Clay advantage Fed or Wawrinka had over him.

She just wants SOMEONE to beat Roger's record. And she'll take anyone. Even a hitherto journeyman.

I don't think it takes a deeply rooted desire to see Federer's slam record fall to be ectastic about Djokovic finally winning RG given his history here. It is relateable to Fed winning in 2009, or even a level beyond that in that sense (the emotional journey and trials to get to that point).

Well, congrats to Novak and his fans. He now has the full box set of Slams and finally fills in the 1 missing piece that puts him fully on a par with Federer and Nadal as the untouchable Big 3 of Tennis! He certainly worked hard enough for it and had to undergo some bitter disappointments along the way before he finally got there. That's the one last big monkey finally off his back once and for all!

As for Andy, obviously he did well to finally complete the full set of all 4 Slam finals played. He played so well and aggressively in that 1st set that I really thought he had a chance. Unfortunately, he couldn't keep it up (the familiar story of his last 3 Slam finals). Maybe the rigours of his draw finally got to him. Only Andy can answer that.

the French fans like Djokovic now

Cheers
3Fees :)

It is all the crying from last year that did them in.

Funny how anyone whose crying as runner up stands out and makes for a very emotional trophy ceremony wins the following year, against a different opponent though.

Fed AO 2009/2010 (Nadal/Murray)
Murray Wimby 2012/2013 (Fed/Djoko)
Djoko FO 2015/2016 (Stan/Murray)

(Murray's crying at AO 2010 etc wasn't intense enough to yield results the following year ;) )

That's part of it, but I think the real contributing factor is the XT in the new Graphene.

What nonsense are you spouting? The inference was clearly that Kobe needed Shaq to win titles while he proved that he CLEARLY didn't and also became the ONLY all-time great to win more than one title without a fellow all-time great player (Gasol will only make hof based on foreign accomplishments, isn't top-75, 0 playoff wins before Kobe).

The bottom line is that LeBron would have ZERO titles without colluding. NONE. He is about to move to a pathetic 2-5 in the finals and he wouldn't have made it nearly that many times had it not been for his hiding in the East with the joke competition (another Nole parable). You LeBron/Nole fanboys can spout all you want about statistics but history remembers the context. LeBron needed the most stacked team in modern history to win a title like Novak needed a weak era to win the French. And this current Cavaliers team was supposed to have the makings of a super team but will fall utterly short again as LeBron fails yet AGAIN.

Two LOSERS.

Not in the case of Venomique whose hate for Fed far surpasses anything she feels for Novak.

Pretty cool to see a fellow basketball fan on here, however assuming the bolded is Kobe Bryant let's make sure to have an honest discussion especially if you're using advanced metrics for LeBron. ;)

His TS% (true shooting percentage) was exactly the same as Jordan's prior to the crap show of the last 2 seasons post-achilles tear.

And I *HATE* Kobe.
