Here is the only message I left on the French Open IBM Board and it was on the 25th.
"Everyone knows Nadal is the heavy favorite over Fed but I don't look for Nadal to make it past the Quarters. People are figuring out you have to take his balls early, keep the ball deep and give him some off pace stuff to keep his timing off. He is all about routine, timing and tempo. You can't allow him to dictate the pace. I look for the winner to be the 4th 5th or 7th seed. The French is more of a chess match and the flat balls Fed hits are a little too low percentage shots for the clay.

So sticking with my prediction on the 25th of the 4th, 5th (J. Del Porto) or 7th seed, I will have to go with the 5th, Del Porto as he is the one left, even though he has only made it to the second round in the French he has been playing excellent and has a mind set that is tough to crack which is exactly why I skipped over the 6th seeded Roddick in my predictions.
I don't think Feds flat shots are going to get the job done in crunch time of the French. Obviously, this is his best chance to win it so far but I personally don't think he will ever win the French.
Fed is great, one of, if not the best ever but so was Sampras.
