Yo guys. Let's discuss players FO kits here! Is this allowed on TTW?

Let's talk about the girls first...
Sharapova's outfit is among the best. BUT, it feels like she wears a nightgown

Serena with the notorious cat suit but I felt like she's in gym class back in 80's

Stella Adidas has been boring and not bold anymore lately

Adidas chose to be very basic this year with their outfits

Benoit Paire's outfit looked pretty classy, as did his awesome hair. It's still noticeable how much more effortlessly stylish the French players look as a group compared to players from most other countries. They really do have a sense of style ingrained in their culture.

Looks really derpy. Like what is that design?
His kit looks like a Roland Garros fast food restaurant uniform's take on the 2013 RG Nadal kit, changed in all the wrong places so as to prevent getting busted for IP infringement.

He's a red hat and a "ding fries are done" short, in fact.

Out of them women, Svitolina looks best imo. The turquoise looks wonderful. And out of the men, Lacoste yet again coming out top, with Paire perhaps looking best.

This comment deserves a medal. A post in r/murderedbywords at the least

Australian doubles player Arina Rodionova also questioned its legality.

"Nothing against Serena's outfit, looks pretty cool actually," she tweeted.

"But just wondering how is that allowed by the rules if we only allowed to wear legging until the middle of the calf the longest, and ALWAYS have to wear skirt/shorts on top of the leggings. Were there any rules changes?"

Russian doubles star Alla Kudryavtseva said she hoped Williams's revolutionary black outfit leads to a rethink over the playing regulations.

"I've been asked to put a skirt on over leggings many times. You have no idea how uncomfortable that is. Or to take them off. That happened too. On both grand slams and WTA tournaments," she tweeted.

"I hope now we can wear leggings alone! Go Serena!"

Managed to find it on the French Lacoste site.

Still nowhere to be seen on the Australian Lacoste site. Oh well

Love the look. First time I saw it (on TV) I could have sworn it was an ellesse shirt, because of its orange and yellow stripes. Only after a better look I noticed the Croc and the other 2 stripes. Not bad for Lacoste, I wish it was an ellesse, though.

I like Sharapova's dress and I agree it's nightgowny, but not as much as last year's USO lacy sparkly faux leather what-have-you.

Overall I really like the Nike turquoise. And I like how Sloane mixes it up with turquoise top, black skirt. Looks like something I would wear.

My official opinion on the Serena catsuit is Unlike.

With Djokovic, Benoit Paire, Mahut and PHH as their stars, La Coste truly branded as the skinny guy apparel.
Lacoste are quality, not only in tennis.

I have said this before. You can wear a Lacoste, Fred Perry, Ralph Lauren polo to a nice restaurant/dinner party, with a nice blazer, and not feel out of place.

Not so with Nike, Adidas or any other sports apparel company. Even the Federer line.

Yes! Thanks to Margot Tennenbaum if I feel lazy I just slip on classic tennis dress, white/polished sneaker w/wo jacket and feel comfortable attending work nights out or semi casual party. But not with the current La Coste tennis dress tho.

Cotton fashion polos/shirts etc. for sure, but you can't wear polyester Lacoste performance/match wear to a dinner party. Sorry to disappoint you.

Of course you are right. That's what I meant. Goes without saying.

Lacoste? yes, 100%. Fred Perry, 80%. RL Polo, not so much, they are way too cheap nowadays.
