Match-up #3 of the two Young Aussies, Tomic winning the first in straights, and the second in a tight 3 setter. Think Kokkinakis will finally eke out a win over Tomic though as he seems much more natural on the surface. Either faces a likely 3rd round clash with Djokovic.

let's hope kokkinakis can take this one ! :)

Kokki in four topsy turvy sets. Just a bit steadier than Tomic on the dirt.

I hope they play Wednesday and Djok goes Tuesday/Thursday. The extra day of rest may come in handy.

Really hoping for Kokki to make it to Novak. That would be good experience for him. Tomic is terrible on clay, and should start getting ready for the grass season where he can actually do well

Tomic was quite injured during his match against Vanni and retired in Nice. Wouldn't be surprised if he retires or withdraws. Haters gonna hate though.

Kinda rough for them to meet up in Rd 2but it has to happen some time. I prefer Kokkinakis but I think Tomic has the experience to take this one in an epic.

Kokkinakis should win this. If not he will be winning against players like Tomic on regular basis within two years. He's #77 in live ranking and a win will lift him around #67.

I don't hate Tomic. I actually really like his game and think he could get to the top 10 this year

He just has a tendancy to withdraw from upcoming difficult matches. Ferrer at the US open. Djokovic in Miami. It just wouldn't surprise me if he decides he doesn't want to risk a tough loss to a rival like Kokkinakis

Yeah that's only 2 withdrawals. Not 10+. Plus he has had back injuries on top of having wisdom teeth pain all through March and it was disrupting his play so the Novak walkover was hardly shocking. He had the wisdom teeth surgery anyway. Hardly withdrawing to risk a tough loss.

Not good :(
It'll sound strange but I hope he loses to Kokkinakis cause it says he'll need several days to rest and I hope he's ready for Grass court season cause that's where he can really shoot up the rankings.

But interesting to note he's had back troubles for quite a while.

Sorry folks...tomic is going to rip him a new one...lol...then tomic is going to get smashed the next match...both have no chance to go deep...Kyrios has the potential to beat Murray - not
