French Open's New Default Bird's Eye Camera Angle

I don't understand who makes these decisions, but it seems with every new stadium redesign, the default camera angle gets further and further away. The French Open is the latest culprit following Cincinnati and US Open Grandstand court last year. The commentators are raving about the new facilities and press accommodations etc... ignoring the fact that for the vast majority of viewers, namely TV viewers, it's decidedly worse. Luckily I have a DIY cable card setup that allows me to view programming in Kodi which allows incremental zooming, but even at 120%, the angle is still too far away. And I have a 75" TV. Is this not bothering others? I can't believe the powers that be don't think this is bad for the sport.

Thank you OP! You are absolutely correct.

Plus, it being clay makes it even more difficult to visually pick out the ball!

Ridiculous

Hear you OP and second you.

I was commenting just today in a match thread that they should move the main camera to a blimpie and be done with it.
