French Tennis icon Believes Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz Are Below the Level of Rafael Nadal

I thought it was the L.12.12 polo Lacoste crocodile green logo.

Yeah but Gasquet has played on tour for 20+ years, he declares that the level of Alcaraz-Sinner is below Big 3. This has to shut down Mcenroe/Roddick/Evert who were peddling nonsense @Hitman @BorgTheGOAT... even @TennisGrandpA said Nadal and Sinner are close peak to peak at RG which is also not true

It’s hard to say. Nadal had incredible quality. I am convinced that at Roland Garros at his best level, he would be above Sinner and Alcaraz. When I played against Jannik, I didn’t play anything special. I am 39 years old. If I played against Rafa at the same level, he wouldn’t have given me more than two games.

I played against Novak in 2015, when I was ranked tenth in the world. I lost 6:2, 6:2, 6,3. And then I was at the top level. Sinner is amazing, but I think he’s still below the big three. Of course, he will progress. This season, Djokovic is not playing at the same level as a few years ago, but he still defeated Alcaraz at the Australian Open. On the other hand, Jannik is 23 years old and Carlos is 22. We will have to wait until they reach their peak. Federer played better at 27-28 than at 22.

John McEnroe is dumber than a bag of chips with a hole in it.
Even a bag of chips knows Nadal's top spin is too vicious for everyone at Roland Garros in particular, and it would push Sinner far back and move him around like a yo yo!
Sinner would cramp worse vs. Nadal than anyone!

A Nadal with Sinner's current age against a Gasquet of almost 39 years old would not give the Frenchman any chance at RG.
It would be a triple 60 for the Spaniard.
:D

:D

Not triple bagel but certainly breaksticks and bagels combo.

And yet again Nadal is the benchmark. Saw it all week at Queens and now Gasquet following on.

I feel sorry for Rafa. He is humble and doesnt think about the past, he doesnt really like all this adulation and reverence he gets, but he is the yardstick it seems for the new generation to measure themselves by.
