From APDGT to...

kanjii

Semi-Pro
I'm getting older and my playing style needs to change a little. Currently playing with APDGT with a smaller grip 4 1/4 for that extra spin with an overgrip and 58lbs on Babolat black strings. Western forehand and one handed backhand. I added an extra overgrip which helped in me hitting the ball flatter. Now, where should I go from here? I will definitely buy 4 3/8 grip to start.

More plow through. More Flatter shots. Kinda like going from a Nadal type playing style to Federer style of play or Sampras. Looking for more control and accuracy.

I suggest trying the Wilson BLX Blade 98, but string it at 50 or just below. I use a multi (X-1 Biphase) in my current setup.

Six one tour 90 or KPS 88 with lead tape (just kidding)
Try radical MP, blade 98, volkl X10 295, and If you like Babs Pure Storm gt! Good luck!

Funny you mentioned tour 90 and kps 88. I had both and sold them though I do miss the k factor 90.
I was thinking of going for the blx prostaff 90. I heard it plays like the k factor but with better feel and more power.
