Ive checked the Babolat Pure Strike VS and it comes with a (65RA) stiffnes rating, ive wonder if its real stiff ?

That is quite stiff for my liking, coming from and old racket like the pure Storm with an (61-62RA)

It is ridiculous that the new current rackets from babolat like aero, strike have this kind of stiffness and my elbow cant handle that, the only way is putting some silicone on the handle and a dampener...

So my final choice would be to try the 2nd gen pure strike or the new 2022 lets see if you guys can uploud some photos of these rackets

I’ve had the Gen 2 Pure Strike VS Tour and the Gen 3 Pure Strike Tour. The current G3 PS Tour is much more comfortable if you are looking for a replacement for your Storms. Also, Babolat is supposed to come up with a new Pure Strike VS early next year based on a new mold and you could wait to try that also.

The RA rating alone does not give you the whole picture, not hurting is it's true box beam structure...

To me PS VS Tour plays just right, pretty comfortable while not too mushy (though I don't mind the RA go even up a bit to 66)

Pure Storm Tour GT had a RA of 64-65 too, and it wasn't feeling too stiff either.

Then again, it all depends on your string tension and type, and sensitivity of your elbow, if you have any existing issues.

I had problems with golfers elbow even using a volkl C10 (years ago) with soft strings. I switched to the regular pure strike gen 3 16x19 six months back, using klip gut/sppp hybrid relatively low tension. I find the pure strike to be comfortable and I do not get elbow pain from it. I really enjoy it, as its lighter but still packs a punch and controllable. I think the specs don't tell the whole story

The current Strike VS is much, much better on the arm than the other Pure Strikes. My buddy has a lot of arm trouble and he loves his. It is light, though, so if you get arm trouble from light rackets then maybe steer clear.

The Strike VS Tour is like butter. Super comfortable. Basically a softer version of My Storm GT Tour.

Im gonna demo it of course

Do you have any photos of the Pure Strike without the overgrip to see the buttcap shape ?
I don't, but I'm sure they're all over E bay.

Just to be clear, I've been posting about the 2017 Pure Strike VS / VS Tour this whole time.

When it first came out, I was told that the VS Tour was an unofficial update on the old Pure Storm Tour. That seemed relevant to your OP.

If you play that light of static with that low of a flex, maybe look into the new Blade. It's amazing for drivey control hitters who want a lighter stick.

If you want to do more damage with the height / spin aspect but keep the control, I might be able to throw a different option out there, but a bit higher flex rating helps with that playstyle.

For what that Strike VS does well, I think the Blade does it a little better atm.
